It is not a standard multiplayer playlist or a mode established for Modern Warfare III (2023).
How does MW3 Chaos Mode work?
Chaos Mode asks you to survive enemy waves and defeat as many enemies as you can before you are taken down or time runs out. Chaining kills increases your combo multiplier, and the Steam product description says players can earn performance-enhancing perks. Activision’s announcement described the mode as outlasting waves and chaining kills to chase a high score.

Map routes matter: moving through an arena to reach weapon pickups, attack enemies, and preserve escape options is part of managing a run. The goal is to keep the action going and build a strong score, rather than complete a conventional multiplayer match objective.
Which maps are in Chaos Mode?
The four maps named for the mode are Resistance, Village, Underground, and Dome. Activision’s announcement and the official product descriptions identify these maps.

Can you play Chaos Mode solo or with other players?
The listed play options are solo, split-screen, or online with a friend. The mode is part of Special Ops content, not a regular competitive multiplayer playlist.
How do you get Chaos Mode?
Chaos Mode is part of Collection 3: Chaos Pack, a digital add-on for the 2011 game. The Steam listing says the DLC requires Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011); the Xbox Store likewise says the base game is sold separately.
