Streamlabs Clipped was Streamlabs’ personalized 2023 streaming recap—not a tool for recording or editing gameplay clips. Its recap summarized qualifying activity captured through Streamlabs tools. The official FAQ covers only the 2023 edition; it does not establish whether a 2026 edition exists or whether the old recap link still works.
What Streamlabs Clipped included
Streamlabs’ Streamlabs Clipped 2023 FAQ, published December 19, 2023, described a personalized recap with streaming statistics and category-based badges. Its stated coverage ran from January 1 through November 30, 2023—not through the end of December.
The FAQ said a stream had to run for at least 30 minutes to count. Streamlabs described this threshold as a way to discount restarted or errored streams, and said streams longer than 30 minutes should count toward the total. Badges for top streamers varied by category and were based on performance over the year. Monthly top-performer badges were described as a possibility under consideration, not a feature that had launched.
How to view Streamlabs Clipped
For the 2023 recap, Streamlabs directed users to the individualized access link on its FAQ page. That is a historical instruction, not confirmation that the link remains available or that it opens a current recap. The FAQ does not document a reliable workflow for a 2026 edition.

Why streams or stats might be missing
- The activity was not recorded through Streamlabs tools. Streamlabs said, “We are also not importing any external platform data for Clipped.” Activity streamed without Streamlabs tools could therefore be absent, and the recap could differ from a platform’s own year-end summary because the data sources or reporting periods differed.
- A stream was shorter than 30 minutes. It would not meet the 2023 recap’s stated minimum duration.
- You were not recently active, or had opted out of stats emails. Streamlabs said users in either situation were excluded from the statistics pull and email lists. The FAQ gave the historical settings path Settings > Account Settings > General > Enable Stats Emails. Settings can change, so treat that path as an instruction for the 2023 recap, not a verified current interface.
Clipped versus Streamlabs’ gameplay and editing tools
“Clipped” can sound like a video-editing feature, but the 2023 FAQ describes a recap. Streamlabs documents separate tools for capture and editing:
- Replay Buffer: A Streamlabs Desktop feature that saves a configured recent section of a stream. Streamlabs’ guide describes enabling it under Settings > Output, choosing a buffer length, and assigning a hotkey. Longer buffers use more memory; the guide gives 20 seconds as an example and describes a maximum of up to two minutes.
- Replay: A separate Windows tool for automatically recording supported games, capturing selected windows or audio/video, and manually clipping 15-second moments with a hotkey. Its editing options include trimming, rearranging, subtitles, layout, and music; clips can be exported to a computer, YouTube, Discord, or phone. Streamlabs says Replay is free and supported on Windows; its supported game list may change.
- Cross Clip: A tool for formatting existing Twitch clips, YouTube videos, or other footage for vertical destinations such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Streamlabs identifies the dashboard’s Clip Editor as Cross Clip.
These are different tasks: Clipped summarized qualifying account activity, Replay Buffer captured recent footage, Replay recorded and edited gameplay highlights, and Cross Clip reformatted footage for vertical video.
