Among the three coats in RDR2.org’s comparison, the Rose Grey Bay leads in health and stamina while retaining strong speed and acceleration. Its drawback is timing: it is a late-game purchase, so it is not an option for a player seeking an early Arabian.

Choose the White for a free wild horse
The White Arabian is the clearest cited choice if you want an Arabian without paying a stable price. It can be found near Lake Isabella, but its remote location makes it less convenient than simply buying a horse once a suitable stable option is available.
Consider the Black as a stable alternative
The Black Arabian has balanced listed values of 6 in health, stamina, speed, and acceleration in RDR2.org’s comparison. It does not lead the comparison on health or stamina, but it may suit players who prefer a stable purchase over searching for the White in the wild.

Where to get the White Arabian
RDR2.org’s guides place the wild White Arabian near Lake Isabella in the snowy northwestern region of the map. Prepare for cold-weather travel and be ready to calm and tame a wild horse; it is not a stable pickup. The cited sources do not establish a step-by-step route or exact landmark, so use the lake as the location reference rather than relying on an unsupported precise waypoint.
Is an Arabian the best horse overall?
Not for every player or purpose. GameSpot’s guide says, “As stated, there is no singular ‘best horse’ in the game,” and names the Turkoman and Missouri Fox Trotter alongside Arabians as strong, well-rounded breeds. Its displayed stats represent horses as found, not their maximum condition, so they should not be treated as a final ranking of fully bonded, equipped horses.

Story mode and Red Dead Online are different
The recommendations and acquisition details above are for story mode. Red Dead Online has separate access conditions for Arabians. RDR2.org reports rank requirements and gold-bar prices, but those details are version-sensitive and should be checked against the current game before relying on them. Do not use the story-mode prices or locations as an Online buying guide.
