White is generally considered the rarest GPO Haki color—specifically, the original White Busoshoku V2 color. A March 2025 guide reports that players receive it for their first Haki V2 quest completion and cannot recreate it with custom spirit color. That points to exclusivity, not a proven lower random chance.
Which color is considered rarest?
The best-supported answer is original White Busoshoku V2. Games Learning Society’s March 3, 2025 guide says White is awarded on the first completion of the Haki V2 quest and cannot be selected again through custom spirit color.
This is a secondary-source account, not an official confirmation of the current game mechanic. The official Roblox listing for Grand Piece Online describes the game but does not publish Haki color acquisition rules or odds.
What does “rarest” mean here?
In this answer, “rarest” means reported exclusivity: the original White color is said to come from a particular first-time quest reward and not be reproducible through the color customization option. That does not show White has a lower chance of randomly appearing than other colors. No reliable published probability table establishes color odds.

Community discussions disagree: some players describe colors as equally likely, while others call White or Black rare because they cannot be rerolled or selected in the color changer. Those posts are anecdotal, and the disagreement does not establish a settled ranking.
Is White rarer than Black?
That is not established. Community accounts also describe Black as unavailable through color changing or otherwise exclusive, but the available evidence does not provide a reliable comparison of White’s and Black’s acquisition rates. It is safer to say that original White is often considered rare than to claim it is definitively rarer than Black.

Don’t confuse a Haki type with a Haki color
GPO discussions use “Haki” for different things. The community-maintained Haki category on the Grand Piece Online Wiki lists Observation (Kenbunshoku), Armament (Busoshoku), and Conqueror’s (Haoshoku). It marks Haoshoku as unobtainable, but that is a claim about a Haki type—not a color variant. The color-rarity question concerns Busoshoku V2.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How certain is the answer?
- Likely answer: original White Busoshoku V2, based on the reported first-quest reward and inability to recreate it with custom spirit color.
- Not established: official current acquisition rules, numerical odds, or a definitive White-versus-Black rarity ranking.
- Source context: the community wiki’s Updates page has historical context about random, customizable colors, but it does not verify the present-day settings.
If you need to know whether the mechanic still works this way in the live game, check the current in-game descriptions or official developer channels. The public game listing does not settle it.
