Early access was scheduled to begin at 2:00 a.m. PDT on June 28; Dawntrail’s official release date was July 2, 2024. These are historical launch times, not a current maintenance schedule.
What time did FFXIV maintenance end?
Square Enix’s official notice records all-world maintenance completing at 2:10 a.m. PDT on June 28, 2024. The scheduled end was 2:00 a.m. PDT. Square Enix had cautioned that maintenance would not end before the scheduled time, so 2:00 a.m. was the planned end, not the recorded completion.
The maintenance window began June 26, 2024, at 2:00 a.m. PDT for Patch 7.0. Square Enix warned that the large patch’s distribution could run ahead of or behind schedule. Square Enix’s maintenance notice gives the schedule and completion update.
When could players start Dawntrail?
Early access was scheduled to start June 28 at 2:00 a.m. PDT. Square Enix said eligible players could begin playing once maintenance concluded. The notice reports maintenance completion at 2:10 a.m. PDT, but does not give a separate universal timestamp for when every player could log in.

Dawntrail’s official release date was Tuesday, July 2, 2024. June 28 was the early-access start, not the official release date. Square Enix announced the date in its Dawntrail release information.
