Helldivers 2’s Polar Patriots Warbond released on May 9, 2024. An archived post from the official Helldivers account saying the Warbond was “now live” is timestamped 09:01 UTC that day. That is the best documented clock time for its launch announcement, not proof that the Warbond unlocked at precisely that moment for every player or platform.
When did Polar Patriots release?
PlayStation’s May 2, 2024 announcement said the Premium Warbond would be deployed on May 9 and roll out to the Destroyer’s Acquisitions panel. PlayStation.Blog’s announcement establishes the scheduled release date.

The official account’s post, preserved in a community-maintained archive, says, “Helldivers, the Polar Patriots Warbond is now live and available in your Acquisition Centre.” The archive timestamps that notice at 09:01 UTC on May 9. Archived official post.
Does 09:01 UTC mean it unlocked everywhere then?
Not necessarily. The timestamp records when the official account announced the Warbond was live. The available sources do not verify the exact unlock instant on every platform, client, or region, so 09:01 UTC is best treated as the documented announcement time rather than a universal server-unlock time.

Where was the Warbond available?
PlayStation said Polar Patriots would appear in the Destroyer’s Acquisitions panel. It was a Premium in-game Warbond, not an established physical standalone product. PlayStation’s announcement says access requires the Helldivers 2 base game, Super Credits, and game progression to unlock its content.
