Bring a compliant clear bag—clear plastic, vinyl or PVC, no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches—or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. You may also bring a small clutch, purse or wallet no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 x 2 inches in addition to one approved clear bag. Pack only essentials: Allegiant Stadium prohibits outside food and beverages, backpacks and oversized purses, and all guests and items are subject to screening.
What to pack for an Allegiant Stadium college football game
- Your ticket and the essentials you will need during the game.
- One permitted clear bag, one-gallon clear freezer bag, or qualifying small clutch. Measure the bag before leaving; the venue’s bag policy sets size and material limits.
- Necessary medical supplies. Medical items may be inspected.
- If useful, binoculars without their case, a blanket, or a small handheld fan without liquid. These items appear on the stadium’s A-Z Guide permitted-items list.
- An empty soft-sided or collapsible water bottle, if you want one; the guide specifies these types, not every empty bottle.
- Sunglasses and sunscreen for time outdoors before entering. The First Time Guests guide advises both and notes that shade around the property is limited. Check the specific event’s instructions for sunscreen-container restrictions.
What bags are allowed at Allegiant Stadium?
| Option | Published limit | How it may be carried |
|---|---|---|
| Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bag | No larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches (Allegiant Stadium bag policy) | One approved clear bag |
| Clear plastic freezer bag | One-gallon size (Allegiant Stadium A-Z Guide) | Permitted alternative to a clear stadium bag |
| Small clutch, purse or wallet | No larger than 4.5 x 6.5 x 2 inches (Allegiant Stadium bag policy) | May be carried in addition to one approved clear bag |
The clear stadium bag offers more room than a one-gallon freezer bag or small clutch, but each option has its own allowance. Check actual dimensions and construction rather than relying only on a product’s label; security screening applies.
What to leave at home or check before game day
- Backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, camera bags and oversized purses.
- Outside food or beverages, including drinks in hard-sided bottles, cans, thermoses or coolers.
- Binocular cases, seat cushions, large umbrellas, and recording equipment that does not meet venue rules.
- Any item with uncertain status. The stadium’s permitted and prohibited items can be subject to event-specific instructions.
The A-Z Guide lists umbrellas under 12 inches when collapsed, but check the event page for current restrictions. It also says: “All patrons and items entering Allegiant Stadium are subject to search.”
When do gates open for UNLV Football?
Allegiant Stadium’s A-Z Guide says UNLV Football gates open 90 minutes before kickoff. Confirm the particular game’s event details before traveling, since event schedules or instructions may differ. If you arrive early, plan for time outside: shade is limited, so sunglasses and sunscreen can be useful.
