Picking the wrong drink in Nivalis Nights is described as recoverable: the customer loses a small, unquantified amount of standing, and the rejected drink is removed from their options so you can try another. If you’re serving Elaine Malloy, choose Algae Infusion—not Lithium Latte.
What happens when you choose the wrong drink?
According to the SteamAH walkthrough published October 2, 2026, a wrong choice costs a little standing with that customer and removes the rejected drink from the available options. You can then select another option. The guide does not quantify the standing loss, and it does not establish whether the same behavior applies in every game version.
A Portuguese-language guide also describes a small relationship loss and removal of the rejected option, but it does not provide a measured penalty either. No firsthand test or exact deduction is available.
