If your Secret Lair order is delayed, check Wizards of the Coast’s current update for that drop and region, then choose whether to wait, ask Customer Support to change the order, or request cancellation and a refund. If you never received an order confirmation, contact Support to verify whether checkout actually created an order. A cart or queue position alone does not secure a product.
First, confirm whether you have an order
- Search the email address used at checkout, including spam and promotions folders, for an order confirmation. Save the order number if you find one.
- If there is no confirmation, contact Wizards Customer Support and ask whether an order exists. Include the drop or sale name, checkout email, approximate purchase time, and any transaction details the support form requests.
- Do not treat an item in your cart, a queue position, or reaching a payment screen as proof that the purchase went through. Wizards says products are secured only after checkout is completed, and advises customers to verify the shipping address on their account. See its August 24, 2026 sale checklist.
Check the delay notice for your specific drop and region
Look in the purchase email account and check Wizards’ Secret Lair Production and Shipping Status page, DailyMTG, and Secret Lair social channels. Wizards has used these channels to share delay updates. A notice may apply only to certain products or regions, so do not assume that a date announced for one drop applies to yours.
For example, a March 27, 2026 update described delays affecting the Rad Superdrop and Roll for Initiative Superdrop in the United States and many non-Dandân drops in Europe. Those were conditions reported on that date, not a current delivery promise for every order.
Choose what to do about an announced delay
In its October 24, 2025 manufacturing-delay notice, Wizards offered customers with affected items three options. Availability can depend on the specific order, so confirm the applicable terms with Support.

Wizards’ notice says: “Refunds for canceled orders will be processed promptly, in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws.” It does not state one refund-processing duration for every order or jurisdiction.
Keep sale-specific dates in scope
Dates in a sale update are not general Secret Lair shipping or cancellation rules. For the Zeta Set preorder, an October 1, 2026 update estimated shipping starts of November 5, 2026 in North America and December 8, 2026 in Europe and the United Kingdom. The same update set October 9, 2026 as the cancellation-request deadline for customers with that specific preorder who no longer wanted it. It also directed customers who believed they completed an order but lacked confirmation to Support for an order-status check. Neither instruction establishes a general deadline for other Secret Lair purchases.
