Battlefield 6 Season 1 began on October 28, 2025, at 15:00 UTC, when seasonal content and progression unlocked. The update was available to download six hours earlier, at 09:00 UTC. Those were separate rollout times, not conflicting launch announcements.

Why were there two different times?
EA separated the update deployment from the season’s content unlock. Installing the update at 09:00 UTC did not unlock the Battle Pass or seasonal progression immediately. EA said players could continue playing Battlefield 6 as normal after updating, with Season 1 content and progression opening at 15:00 UTC.
What EA announced about the season schedule
EA’s September 30 roadmap preview set October 28 as the Season 1 launch date across platforms. It also listed two later phases: California Resistance on November 18 and Winter Offensive on December 9, 2025. EA’s Season 1 roadmap preview
California Resistance subsequently deployed on November 18 at 4 a.m. PT (12 p.m. UTC), according to EA’s mid-season roadmap. That was a later Season 1 phase, not the initial season unlock. EA’s California Resistance roadmap

Which time should you use?
- If you mean when the update could be downloaded, the confirmed time was 09:00 UTC on October 28, 2025.
- If you mean when the Battle Pass, seasonal features, and progression became available, it was 15:00 UTC that day.
EA announced the schedule in UTC and did not provide a region-by-region local-time table. Convert 15:00 UTC using your location’s time zone and daylight-saving rules if you need the corresponding local clock time.
