GameSpot’s launch-day update reported that Fortnite was back online and Season 2 had begun at about 5 AM PT on March 19. This is a reported approximate availability time, rather than a published exact server-opening time. GameSpot
What was the expected start time?
Before launch, Insider Gaming estimated that downtime would begin around 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET and that players might regain access around 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET. The outlet noted on March 11 that Epic had not announced an official start time, so those hours were a forecast—not a confirmed schedule. Insider Gaming
