Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 released on PC on January 30, 2025. It is already available for Windows through Steam and the Epic Games Store. A PlayStation Network account is optional, but the game requires 140 GB of SSD storage.

The PC release date was announced on October 18, 2024, during New York Comic Con. Since the launch has already happened, references describing the port as “coming soon” are outdated. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is a released PC game, not an upcoming Windows title.
Where to buy Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC
You can buy the Windows version from either of these official storefronts:
- Steam — includes Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Family Sharing.
- Epic Games Store — useful for players who keep their PC library on Epic and may value the store’s displayed rewards and self-refund terms.
The core game and listed PC requirements are presented across both storefronts. There is no supported indication that a purchase on Steam transfers ownership to Epic, or the other way around, so choose the store where you want to own and launch the game.

US storefront prices observed on August 18, 2026 were $59.99 for Standard Edition and $69.99 for Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam. Epic displayed $59.99 for the base game. Prices vary by region, taxes, sales and promotions, so treat those figures as snapshots rather than permanent prices.

The Digital Deluxe Edition is primarily for players who want extra suits, Photo Mode content and bonus skill points. The official edition descriptions do not identify a separate campaign or a performance upgrade in the Deluxe package. Owners of the Standard Edition can also obtain the Digital Deluxe content as an upgrade.

Does the PC version require a PlayStation Network account?
No. PlayStation Network account linking is optional on PC. You still need the relevant Steam or Epic Games account to purchase and use the game through that storefront, but the available PlayStation information does not make PSN linking mandatory.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC system requirements
The game requires 140 GB of free space on an SSD. Having enough capacity on a hard disk does not satisfy the stated storage requirement.

These are official target specifications, not independent performance tests. Meeting only the minimum tier is intended for low settings and approximately 30 frames per second; it is not a sensible target for ray tracing or 4K.

PC features and controller support
The PC version includes unlocked frame rates, adjustable graphics settings and support for Nvidia DLSS 3 upscaling and frame generation, AMD FSR 3.1 upscaling and frame generation, and Intel XeSS. It also supports ray-traced reflections, shadows and ambient occlusion, as well as Nvidia DLSS Ray Reconstruction.

Display support includes ultrawide and super-ultrawide formats, including 16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9 and 48:9 triple-monitor configurations. Mouse and keyboard controls are fully supported, so a controller is not required.

DualSense adaptive triggers and the full range of supported controller features require a wired USB connection. Wireless DualSense play may still be possible, but it does not provide the complete feature set. Compatible PC hardware and a suitable display are also required for some controller and display features.
Languages and other features
The PC release supports a broad selection of voice and text languages. Voice options include English, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, French, German and Japanese, among others. Text support is broader and includes languages such as Czech, Dutch, Greek, Finnish, Hungarian, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese variants.
Steam also lists features including Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, HDR and Family Sharing. The game is a single-player title.

What to do if the PC version will not download or launch
- Check the storefront first. Contact Steam Support for Steam purchase, download or launch problems, or Epic Games Support for Epic-specific issues.
- Check the basics. Confirm that Windows is version 1909 or newer, that at least 140 GB is available on an SSD, and that your hardware is not being asked to run ray tracing or 4K settings beyond its specification tier.
- Check controller connections. If adaptive triggers or other DualSense features are missing, connect the controller with a wired USB cable.
- Use Nixxes support resources. The official PlayStation PC support page directs players to the Nixxes Knowledge Base for technical troubleshooting, FAQs, patch notes and known issues. If those steps do not resolve the problem, submit a Nixxes support request through the available support route.
For voucher, purchase and storefront-account problems, start with Steam or Epic rather than PlayStation support. PSN linking is optional and is not the same thing as owning the game through a PC storefront.
Bottom line
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 came to Windows PC on January 30, 2025, and is available now on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Before buying, check for 140 GB of SSD space and compare your hardware with the official requirements. You do not need to link a PlayStation Network account, and you can play with either mouse and keyboard or a controller.
