The separate Vol. 2 in-game experience ran from March 26 through April 2, 2024; those are different dates.
When did the Airphoria Vol. 2 set come out?
A March 26, 2024 report by TechTimes listed March 27 as the Item Shop release date for the Vol. 2 cosmetics. The date is based on that secondary report; an official Fortnite announcement confirming the shop date was not located. The USPTO TTAB filing excerpt separately describes the Vol. 2 experience as a limited-run event from March 26 to April 2, 2024. That event window does not establish the cosmetics’ shop date.
What cosmetics were reported in the set?
TechTimes reported that the Vol. 2 lineup included these digital items:
- Eclipse Outfit
- Airphorian Outfit
- OG Max Back Bling
- Vac n’ Hack Pickaxe
- Fresh Out the Box Emote
- Maxxed Out Portal Loading Screen
This is the lineup attributed to the report, not an independently confirmed current shop listing. TechTimes also speculated at the time that the original Airphoria set might return; that prediction is not confirmation of present availability.

How Vol. 2 differs from the original Airphoria
The original Airphoria was a separate 2023 Fortnite activation. Epic said its island was available through June 27, 2023, at 8 p.m. ET, in Discover or with island code 2118-5342-7190. Its cosmetics included the Airie and Maxxed Out Max Outfits in the Airphoria Pack, Pure Sole Boombox and Maxx Stacks Back Blings, plus the That Ice and Maxx Axe Pickaxes, Maxx Drop Glider, and Keep ’Em Crispy Emote. Those details concern the original activation, not Vol. 2.
Nike’s June 20, 2023 announcement also described a limited Airphoria-inspired collection releasing on Nike.com in North America. That physical collection was tied to the original launch; the available reporting does not establish a physical Vol. 2 product. In the same announcement, Nike Virtual Studios VP/GM Ron Faris described the original launch as: “Airphoria represents a new, immersive experience for Nike as it amplifies its efforts in gaming and virtual products.”

- Synthetic and premium leather offers lasting durability and structure.
- Padded collar enhances comfort and provides a secure fit.
- A perforated toe box boosts breathability, while the Nike Air unit cushions every step with lightweight comfort.
- Crafted with synthetic and genuine leather upper, these shoes keep the classic silhouette fresh while locking in everyday durability
Epic’s February 2024 retrospective characterized the original Airphoria as an immersive virtual sneaker hunt featuring Nike Air Max and created with Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). It is background on the original experience, not evidence of Vol. 2 shop availability.
