Nosk is in Deepnest, in the southwest of Hallownest, reached through a hidden passage near the Deepnest Hot Spring. The entrance is a breakable wall in the room directly west of the Hot Spring, and the path to the boss requires either Monarch Wings or Crystal Heart.
Where Nosk is located
Nosk is a boss in Deepnest, the maze-like region in the southwest corner of Hallownest. Because Deepnest is built from winding, interconnected passages, Nosk does not sit at an obvious spot on the map that you can walk to directly. Navigate by landmarks instead: find the Deepnest Hot Spring first, then work outward from it. The Hollow Knight Wiki’s Nosk entry documents this route, and its Deepnest entry supplies the regional orientation.
What you need before you start
- Monarch Wings or Crystal Heart. One of these is required to enter the hidden room. Without either ability, the concealed wall path is not reachable as described.
- Access to Deepnest. You need to be able to reach the Deepnest Hot Spring area through the region’s normal passages.
Step-by-step route to Nosk
- Reach the Deepnest Hot Spring.
- Move to the room directly west of the Hot Spring and search its wall for a breakable section. Break it to open the way in.
- In the newly opened room, you will find a Grub. Break the wall behind the Grub to continue.
- Follow the tunnels beyond that second wall. They lead to Nosk’s lair.
Practical tips for finding the route
- Use the Hot Spring as your reference point. The first breakable wall is defined relative to it, not to a map coordinate.
- Do not assume the boss marks itself on your map. Expect to explore the surrounding tunnels, since Deepnest’s layout is maze-like.
- If the wall description in a guide does not match what you see, check the Deepnest entry on the Hollow Knight Wiki. Route details can change with game updates, and wiki pages are the most reliable reference here.
Why the route is hidden
The breakable walls and the Grub room are secret areas rather than standard paths, which is why the route is easy to miss on a first visit. Searching the room west of the Hot Spring carefully is the most important step; the rest of the route follows directly once the first wall is open.
