As of the retailer and MSI listings checked around August 18, 2026, the clearest US buy-now option was the MSI Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition at MSI’s US store for $1,149, marked “In Stock.” Best Buy’s US listing for the Claw 8 EX AI+ showed $1,799.99 but was marked “Sold Out” with a “Notify Me” option—not an open pre-order. MSI lists Claw models on its Canadian and UK sites, but those catalog pages do not confirm local stock, prices or dispatch dates. Check the exact regional SKU and checkout status before ordering.
Which MSI Claw model are you looking for?
“MSI Claw” is a family name, not a single configuration. The regional MSI catalogs list several models separately; their presence in a catalog does not mean a local retailer has them in stock. Use the model name and SKU, not just the word “Claw,” when comparing offers. MSI UK’s handheld catalog lists these product families.
| Model | Platform or distinguishing detail | What to verify on the listing |
|---|---|---|
| Claw 8 AI+ A2VM | Intel Core Ultra 7 258V and Intel Arc graphics; commonly listed with 32GB memory and 1TB storage. | Exact regional SKU, memory, SSD capacity, seller and price. |
| Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition | Special-color version of the Claw 8 AI+ platform. | Storage varies by configuration and region: the US listing below is 1TB, while UK and Canadian product specifications describe 2TB as a configuration-dependent option. |
| Claw 8 EX AI+ CG3EM | Intel Arc G3 Extreme platform; the verified US listing specifies 32GB memory and a 1TB SSD. | Whether a retailer is actually accepting orders; a stock alert is not a reservation. |
| Claw A8 BZ2EM | AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme-based alternative. | Local price, stock and configuration; no reliable cross-country price comparison is established here. |
| Claw 7 AI+ A2VM | Smaller 7-inch-class option. | Exact screen and regional configuration, plus current local availability. |
The Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest US listing specifies Windows 11 Home, Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, Intel Arc 140V graphics, 32GB LPDDR5 memory, a 1TB PCIe Gen4×4 M.2 2230 SSD, an 8-inch 1920×1200 120Hz IPS-level touchscreen, Wi-Fi 7, Hall-effect sticks and triggers, an 80Wh battery and two Thunderbolt 4 ports. Its US page also claims 100% sRGB and lists MSI Center M. These are details of that specific listing, not a guarantee that every regional Claw configuration matches it. Where to buy an MSI Claw in Canada
MSI Canada’s catalog lists the Claw 8 AI+, Polar Tempest Edition, Claw A8, Claw 8 EX AI+ and Claw 7 AI+. The accessible pages do not establish a dependable current Canadian price or live retailer stock status, so catalog presence alone is not proof that a unit can be ordered. Start with MSI Canada’s handheld catalog and its product-level retailer links; the Canadian Polar Tempest product page is also available.

- Confirm the listing shows a Canadian-dollar price and the exact model/SKU you intend to buy.
- Check whether the price includes or excludes applicable taxes, and review shipping cost and delivery estimate.
- Verify the SSD capacity; do not assume the US Polar Tempest’s 1TB configuration is identical to a Canadian listing.
- Confirm seller identity, return terms and applicable warranty coverage before paying.
Where to buy an MSI Claw in the UK
MSI UK lists the Claw 8 AI+, Polar Tempest Edition and Claw 8 EX AI+ families, among others, but its accessible catalog and product pages do not establish a dependable current UK price, confirmed retailer stock or dispatch date. “Listed by MSI” is not the same as “available to order.” Check MSI UK’s handheld catalog and follow the regional retailer links. The UK Polar Tempest product page notes that configurations can vary; do not infer the US 1TB storage configuration or price from it.
Before ordering, confirm a UK retailer’s live checkout offer, GBP price, VAT treatment, delivery estimate, seller and UK warranty terms. An MSI product page by itself does not establish that a retailer has stock.

Is the Claw 8 EX AI+ available to pre-order?
The verified US Best Buy page showed the Claw 8 EX AI+ at $1,799.99 with “Sold Out” and “Notify Me” controls. That is a sold-out listing with a stock alert, not a confirmed pre-order. MSI’s UK and Canadian catalogs establish that the model is listed regionally, but the accessible pages do not establish a current pre-order price, deposit, order flow or dispatch date for either country.
- Pre-order: A retailer accepts an order before general release, typically with an order confirmation and a stated release or estimated shipping date.
- Notify me: You sign up for an alert; it does not reserve a unit or lock in a price. MSI’s US store has stated that its notification system does not guarantee availability or price and that orders are handled first-come, first-served. See MSI’s US store catalog and notification information.
- Backorder: A retailer may accept an order despite having no immediate stock; delivery timing can be uncertain.
Only treat the EX AI+ as open for pre-order if a live retailer page actually accepts an order and gives a release or dispatch estimate. A product registration, wishlist button or email alert is not enough.

Which MSI Claw should you buy?
- Best-documented US buy-now route: The Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition at MSI’s US store was listed in stock at $1,149 in the checked snapshot. Compare its exact 1TB/32GB SKU with any standard Claw 8 AI+ offer rather than assuming the models or prices are identical.
- Standard Claw 8 AI+: Consider it if you want the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V/Arc configuration and find a competitive offer from a seller whose return and warranty terms suit you. The Best Buy price varied across captures.
- Claw 8 EX AI+: Consider pursuing it if you specifically want the Arc G3 Extreme platform and accept the $1,799.99 US listing price and uncertain availability. The cited listing does not establish a performance advantage in games; compare independent testing before paying a premium for performance.
- Claw A8: Compare this AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme-based model if you prefer that platform. The available listings do not provide a reliable current price comparison across the US, Canada and UK.
- Claw 7 AI+: Consider the smaller 7-inch-class model if size matters more to you than the Claw 8’s larger display; check its local configuration and stock separately.
What to check before ordering
- Match the SKU and country. Confirm the complete model code, such as A2VM-001US, A2VM-084US or CG3EM-024US, rather than relying on product photos or a generic “Claw 8 AI+” title.
- Compare the actual configuration. Check processor family, memory (including 24GB versus 32GB where applicable), SSD capacity (1TB versus 2TB), display resolution and refresh rate, battery capacity and edition/color.
- Check who is selling it. On a marketplace listing, inspect “sold by” and “shipped by,” new versus open-box condition, return policy and whether the manufacturer warranty applies.
- Confirm what arrives in the box. Verify charger and plug, keyboard labeling where relevant, included software and any Xbox Game Pass offer. MSI says specifications and bundle eligibility can vary by model and country; check the terms for the exact SKU on the MSI product page.
- Read the delivery and return terms. A catalog listing, stock alert or marketplace offer does not guarantee immediate delivery. Check the estimated arrival date, return window and warranty terms for the seller and region.
- Calculate the full cost if importing. Include sales tax or VAT, customs and brokerage fees, shipping, possible return shipping and any warranty limitations. A lower foreign listing price may not remain cheaper after these costs.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
