For the original Act 1 Standard cassette hunt in Crime Scene Cleaner, check the ten missions below. Some cassettes are direct pickups; others require keycards, secret routes, or puzzles, and one is awarded automatically. Nightmare mode’s discs are a separate collectible category, while Community and Act 2 missions add more music collectibles.
Spoilers: the locations and access routes are described below.
Act 1 Standard cassette locations
These are the named Standard cassettes listed for the original ten Act 1 missions. Use the mission you are missing an item from to narrow the search. Gamepressure’s mission-indexed guide is the source for the location list; additional routes noted below are attributed to the walkthroughs identified in the cited sources.
Mission 0 — Bad Call
- Cieszyn’s Venice: Find the Gardener’s Hideout by collecting two lucky keys. One is in the bathroom of the upper apartment, behind planks blocking a door. Find the other along the secret corridor/apartment route, then use both to open the iron doors to the botanical room.
- Epitaph of a Good Friend: At the kitchen window, take the elevator down to the apartment below. The cassette is on a shelf.
- Classical Music Collection: In the attic, beside the radio.
Mission 1 — Trial by Blood
- Out of the Hood: Find the keycard at the bottom of the pool in the Relaxation Zone. Use it to open Men’s Locker 017.
- Kapushi Clouds: On the computer desk in the Maintenance Room.
- Classical Music Collection: In the Spa VIP Room. The keycard chain starts with W024 by a solarium sunbed. Use it on Women’s Locker 024 to get the next card, then open Men’s Locker 034 to obtain the VIP keycard.

Track missing cassettes and the achievement
Finding all cassette tapes awards “Juke Box Hero,” according to the achievement listing. A player comment on that page says the mission-selection screen at the truck shows cassette counts by mission, and reports that replaying a mission to collect a missed cassette may count even if the player then abandons it. That is community advice, not an official guarantee; verify the count in your own game version.
A community wiki describes cassettes as soundtrack unlocks playable from the Codex’s Music section and gives a total of 30, but that figure may not include later updates. It should not be treated as a confirmed current game-wide total. The wiki’s cassette page provides its own description.
