Where to find Anteka
Search Hoarfrost Reach for Anteka. Game8 lists the locale as the creature’s habitat; it does not establish a specific zone number, fixed coordinate, or route, so there is no substantiated area-level direction to give. Game8’s Anteka guide was last updated July 23, 2025.
Although the game’s title includes Monster Hunter: World, the listed habitat is Hoarfrost Reach, associated with the Iceborne expansion. The sources cited here do not establish the exact progression requirement for unlocking that locale.
How to identify Anteka
Anteka are small tundra herbivores. Game8’s guide gives this in-game description: “Herbivores of the tundra that are slightly more aggressive than Kelbi, using their horns to fend off any attackers.” Their horns are a useful distinguishing feature, and the description cautions that they may defend themselves.

What Anteka can provide
Carving an Anteka can yield Anteka Antler, a carving material. The Monster Hunter World Chronicles item entry lists rank-specific acquisition records, including Low Rank carving rates and Master Rank quest rewards. Those are game-database entries tied to their stated ranks and conditions, not a guarantee that every carve or quest reward will produce an antler.

The item database also associates the material with rewards from “Boaboa Constrictor,” “By Our Powers Combined,” “You Scratch Our Backs…,” and “A Bunch of Sticks in the Mud.” These are alternate reward records; they do not mean you must complete one of those quests to find an Anteka.

The cited references support Hoarfrost Reach as Anteka’s habitat, but do not confirm a numbered spawn area, exact coordinates, a guaranteed route, or the precise unlock progression for the locale. Treat Hoarfrost Reach as the reliable location answer and explore the map rather than relying on an unverified zone number.
