The best place to collect a large amount of soap in Fallout 76 is an unmarked bathtub beneath a power pylon south of New River Gorge Bridge – East. The exact number of bars reported there varies by community source, so use the landmark as your guide rather than expecting a guaranteed count. If it has already been looted, check the Whitespring Spa or Darling Sister’s Lab.
Where to find the large soap pile
- Travel to New River Gorge Bridge – East.
- Search south of the location for a power pylon.
- Look beneath it for a bathtub and skeleton. The unmarked landmark is known as the soapy skeleton; the soap is around the tub. Fallout Wiki’s landmark entry describes the location.
The listed quantity is inconsistent: the soap item page says more than 20 bars, the landmark page lists 24, and another guide result gives 20. Treat it as a large cluster, not a fixed count. Fallout Wiki’s soap page and its soapy skeleton page are community-maintained references.

The Nukes & Dragons soap map lists 118 locations and 293 fixed spawns overall, with high counts at New River Gorge Bridge – East, Highway Town, and the Whitespring North Entrance. It is a community database useful for planning a route, not an official Bethesda map.

The Fallout Wiki soap page also lists a Whitespring Robo Butler Collectron station as a possible passive source: it gives an 11.40% chance to generate soap every 10 minutes and 12 seconds. That is a listed chance, not a guaranteed drop; the source does not state a publication year for the figure.
