Defeat the Ancient Dragon-Man at the end of Dragon’s Pit in Gravesite Plain to get the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana. From the Castle Front Site of Grace, follow the southeast route to the cave, then drop from the right edge at the apparent dead end inside to reach the boss fog door.
How to reach Dragon’s Pit
- Start at the Castle Front Site of Grace, in front of Castle Ensis, and travel southeast along the main path.
- At the route split near long, glowing worms protruding from the ground, turn right. Speak to the NPC crying beside the path.
- Continue past the headless statues to reach Dragon’s Pit.
How to find the Ancient Dragon-Man
- Rest at the Dragon’s Pit Site of Grace and proceed through the cave. The skeleton enemies can revive, so keep moving through the opening area toward the staircase.
- At the apparent dead end near the bottom, drop off the right edge into the lower area. The boss fog door is there.
- Defeat the Ancient Dragon-Man. The Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana is listed among Dragon’s Pit’s loot and is associated with this encounter. After the fight, the double doors behind the boss lead onward toward Jagged Peak.
What the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana is
It is a Great Katana with the skill Dragonwound Slash. The item description calls it a gravel-stone-spined blade wielded by the Ancient Dragon-Man and says it has an anti-dragon effect. A weapon reference lists its weight as 10.5; that figure comes from a guide published June 24, 2024, and is not a patch-current combat-stat verification.
