Jiaoqiu’s character ascension and his Trace upgrades draw on two separate material sets, and the totals do not overlap in quantity even where some enemy drops appear in both. Ascension from level 20 to 80 needs 65 Raging Heart, 15 each of the three Immortal materials (Immortal Scionette, Immortal Aeroblossom and Immortal Lumintwig), and 308,000 Credits. Maxing every Trace node needs 139 Heaven Incinerator, 69 Starfire Essence, 18 Fiery Spirit, 12 Regret of Infinite Ochema, 8 Tracks of Destiny, 41 Immortal Scionette, 56 Immortal Aeroblossom, 58 Immortal Lumintwig and 3,000,000 Credits. The totals below come from Game8’s Jiaoqiu material guide, which reports a 2026-04-16 update.
Character ascension materials (level 20 to 80)
Ascension is the set that unlocks Jiaoqiu’s level cap. Game8’s 2026 guide lists the following totals for that path.

HoYoverse’s version 2.1 announcement identifies Raging Heart as the Fire-type character ascension material introduced in that update, which corroborates its role in Jiaoqiu’s build even though the announcement is not a farming guide.
Trace materials
Traces are the skill and talent upgrades for Jiaoqiu’s nodes. They draw on a different set of totals, and several of the Immortal materials are needed here in much larger quantities than for ascension.

Where to farm each material
Raging Heart
Clear Shape of Ire Stagnant Shadow at Dewlight Pavilion on Penacony. This is a one-time source per the guide’s framing, so plan the full 65 across your available runs rather than expecting a repeatable farm. The Synthesizer exchange is the second route if you need to fill gaps.
Fiery Spirit series (Fiery Spirit, Starfire Essence, Heaven Incinerator)
Farm Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Nihility in the Alchemy Commission. The guide describes lower-rarity materials being exchanged or synthesized into higher rarities, so the 139 Heaven Incinerator requirement can be reduced by converting what you collect. This is the repeatable farm of the set.
Regret of Infinite Ochema
Fight Phantylia in Echo of War: Divine Seed at Scalegorge Waterscape on the Xianzhou Luofu. The activity unlocks after the relevant Luofu story mission. Because it is a weekly boss material, your total depends on how many weeks you can attempt it.

Immortal-series materials
Game8’s guide totals the three Immortal materials but does not give a complete list of which enemies or locations drop them. Check the in-game enemy guide or map for current enemy locations rather than relying on a fixed list.

Ascension and Traces are separate goals, so decide which you need first. The useful comparisons are ascension against Traces, one-time Stagnant Shadow drops against repeatable Calyx farming, and weekly Echo of War material against ordinary activity drops. The guide’s totals are for a max-upgrade plan. If you do not intend to level every Trace node, calculate a smaller target before farming.
- Collect Raging Heart first for level ascension, using Shape of Ire at Dewlight Pavilion and then Synthesizer exchange for any shortfall.
- Farm Bud of Nihility in the Alchemy Commission for the Fiery Spirit series, and convert lower-rarity items into higher tiers before spending more energy.
- Reserve your weekly Echo of War attempts for Regret of Infinite Ochema.
- Check your inventory and the Synthesizer before spending Trailblaze Power, since exchanges may cover part of the need.
- Locate Immortal-series drops through the in-game enemy guide or map, because Game8’s 2026 guide does not list them exhaustively.
This guide does not calculate an optimized Trailblaze Power schedule. Your own stamina budget and the weekly limit will determine how quickly you can clear each target.

- Activity and material names can change between versions and localizations. Compare the labels in your client against the names above, especially Regret of Infinite Ochema.
- The totals reflect Game8’s 2026-04-16 update. Later patches may change drop rates, exchange options or activity schedules.
- Echo of War is unavailable until the relevant Xianzhou Luofu story mission is complete.
- Totals are game-material counts, not real-world statistics, and the Immortal drop locations above are unconfirmed beyond the enemy guide’s general sources.
Jiaoqiu’s full build is achievable through the activities above. Start with the ascension materials, then work through the Trace set according to the level of upgrade you actually want.
