To join Nine Mortal Ways in Where Winds Meet, follow the recruitment clue in Harvestfall Village: speak with San Qian, meet the apparent Well of Heaven elder by the elm tree, and complete his jewelry request. Use Wind Sense at the marked target to request the Large Pile of Jewelry. When you return, the elder reveals the trick and offers a choice; select Nine Mortal Ways to join.
How to join Nine Mortal Ways in Harvestfall
- Find San Qian in Harvestfall Village. The village is in western Qinghe. San Qian is described as a waiter and information broker. Pay the small bribe he asks for to get the clue; the November 17, 2025 walkthrough does not establish a reliable amount.
- Follow the information to the elm tree. Speak with the person who appears to be a Well of Heaven elder and accept his request to take jewelry from an “old friend.” In this route, the apparent recruitment is a setup.
- Use Wind Sense at the quest target. Inspect the target’s possessions, select “Large Pile of Jewelry,” then use the “request” interaction.
- Return to the elder and choose Nine Mortal Ways. After you turn in the jewelry, the elder reveals his identity and presents the choice to join Nine Mortal Ways or leave and pursue Well of Heaven. Choose Nine Mortal Ways to accept.
Button prompts may differ by platform, so follow the interaction labels shown by your client rather than assuming identical controls.
What to do if the recruitment clue is different
Published route information is not fully consistent. A December 2, 2025 QM Games guide described the Harvestfall chain and a second route beginning at Halo Peak for Midnight Blades as confirmed at that time. It described a proposed Ghostlight Market lead involving Elder Ni as unconfirmed because it had no quest continuation. These reports are dated guide accounts, not proof that every player currently receives the same clue.
If Harvestfall does not match your objective, check the live Sects menu and the quest you are tracking, then follow the dialogue and clue displayed in your game. Do not treat the Ghostlight Market lead as a confirmed Nine Mortal Ways route on the basis of that December 2025 guide.

What Nine Mortal Ways offers
Nine Mortal Ways is an optional trickster sect associated with pranks, social mischief, deception, and disguise-based progression. Its associated martial art is Mortal Rope Dart. Membership is not a character class or a player guild, and you can remain sectless.
Do not assume joining is required to obtain Mortal Rope Dart: the sect handbook notes that martial arts may have alternate acquisition paths, such as Skill Theft. Check the live acquisition entry for the art and the sect’s current membership rules before committing.
Quick Recap
Best Value
- 🌀 Officially Licensed Where Winds Meet Collectible – the Teleporter, in Miniature This isn't fan art on a keycap. It's an official Where Winds Meet keycap — an authorized 3D replica of the game's iconic teleporter, cast in metal with every magical rune and architectural detail intact. For collectors who care about authenticity. For fans who know the difference between licensed and knockoff. The box says it. The keycap proves it. Your keyboard just got a piece of the mystical world itself.
- ⚙️ Premium Metal Construction – 3D Sculpted, Not Flat Printed Cast from high-quality metal with a sculpted 3D profile that rises above the keycap surface — not a flat decal, not a printed image, not a thin layer of epoxy over a sticker. Each teleporter detail is rendered in raised relief you can feel under your fingertip. The weight is real. The cold-metal touch is real. This artisan keycap brings a tactile, architectural presence to your keystrokes that no printed cap can match.
- ⌨️ Cherry MX Compatible – Drops Right into Your Setup Standard Cherry MX stem design fits the vast majority of mechanical keyboards — Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, and most MX-style clones. Ideal for the Escape key, function row, or any 1u slot that needs a personality upgrade. This mechanical keyboard keycap installs in seconds. No adapters. No wobble. No "it almost fits." Just a precision stem that seats securely the first time.
- 🎁 Themed Collector Box – a Where Winds Meet Gift That Lands Before They Even Open It Presented in officially licensed collector packaging featuring game art and branding — the unboxing experience starts the moment they see the box. Birthday for the open-world RPG fan. Holiday for the keyboard builder who already has every switch tester. Surprise for the Where Winds Meet enthusiast who thought they owned every piece of official merch. This collector keycap proves them wrong in the best way.
- 🛠️ Keycap Puller Included – Full Install Kit, No Separate Purchase Every order includes one teleporter-themed metal artisan keycap and a free keycap puller in the box. No hunting for tools. No scratched keycaps from makeshift removal. No waiting for a separate accessory order to arrive. This keycap set arrives complete — pull the old cap, seat the teleporter, and let the mystical world glow from your ESC key. Installation takes 30 seconds. The conversation it starts lasts way longer.
