There is no complete, current public list of every country where Roblox is blocked. Roblox’s March 2026 filing gives Türkiye, Russia, and certain unnamed Middle Eastern countries as examples of places where the platform has been blocked entirely. A separate monitor’s October 2026 checks found blocked connections in Egypt and Vietnam and on some networks in Turkey—but those tests covered only selected home broadband providers, not every connection in each country.
Countries cited in reports of Roblox blocks
| Country or region | What the evidence says | Scope and qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Türkiye (Turkey) | Roblox’s March 2026 filing names the Republic of Türkiye as an example of a country where the platform has been blocked entirely. VPN Alert reported Turkey blocked on some networks in checks around October 3, 2026. | The filing does not establish access on every network today. The monitor tested selected home broadband providers and found the result varied by network. |
| Russia | Roblox’s March 2026 filing names Russia as an example of a country where the platform has been blocked entirely. VPN Alert’s October 2026 snapshot showed Roblox opening on its tested connections. | The reports describe different evidence: a company filing and a limited, later connectivity snapshot. Neither establishes behavior on every Russian connection. |
| Egypt | VPN Alert reported Roblox blocked in its October 2026 checks. | This was a limited home-broadband test, not a determination that the entire country or every access method was blocked. |
| Vietnam | VPN Alert reported Roblox blocked in its October 2026 checks. | This was a limited home-broadband test, not a determination that the entire country or every access method was blocked. |
| Unspecified Middle Eastern countries | Roblox’s March 2026 filing refers to “certain Middle Eastern countries” as examples of places where the platform has been blocked entirely. | The filing excerpt does not name those countries, so it does not support a more specific list. |
Roblox’s filing is the strongest source here for the company’s characterization of full platform blocks, but its examples are not an exhaustive list or a guarantee of present-day access. VPN Alert’s October 2026 snapshot is a separate, narrower observation: the monitor says it tests two major home-internet providers in each of 24 countries, repeats failed checks while the site works elsewhere, and rechecks changes. It warns that app and mobile-network results may differ from home broadband. Its results therefore indicate what happened on tested connections, not a government-wide legal status. Roblox’s March 2026 SEC filing and VPN Alert’s country monitor should be read according to those different scopes.
A blocked Roblox platform is not the same as a restricted game
Roblox may remain accessible in a country even when a particular experience, type of content, avatar item, or feature is restricted there. Roblox says local requirements can lead it to limit a type of content or a specific game or avatar item in a country. If an experience is restricted, Roblox says it will not be discoverable or playable by users there; that restriction does not by itself mean Roblox is unavailable or that the creator’s content is restricted elsewhere. See Roblox Creator Hub’s regional content availability guidance.
Roblox describes availability as subject to change as requirements evolve. Its June 2025 filing also describes possible regulatory effects ranging from limits on platform or internet access to changes or disabling of features or content, and, in some cases, suspension in a jurisdiction. That filing outlines possible effects; it is not a current country-by-country status list. Roblox’s June 2025 filing provides that broader context.

How to tell whether the problem is country-wide
A failed login or game launch alone does not establish that Roblox is blocked across a country. Compare the scope of the symptom before drawing that conclusion:
- One experience is missing or unplayable: It may be restricted locally, or the issue may be specific to that experience. Roblox says a locally restricted game can be both undiscoverable and unplayable.
- A feature or item is unavailable: This may be a local content or feature restriction rather than a block on the whole platform.
- The website or app fails only on one connection: A network-specific issue is possible. Independent monitors test only selected providers, and app or mobile access may differ from home broadband.
- Access fails across services or networks: That can be consistent with a broader block, but a small set of connection checks still cannot prove that every provider or access method is affected.
When checking a reported status, note the date, whether the source tested a website or app, which networks it checked, and whether it is describing an official restriction or simply an observed connection failure. These distinctions matter because status can change and reports may not cover every access route.
