In Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake, Manoza Cave has ten Mimic chests across its B2 routes: chests #1, #6, and #9 on the chest trail; the NW, NE, and SW dead ends; chests #1 and #4 in the south group; and chests #1 and #2 in the SE group. These numbers are meaningful only within their route or room.
Which Manoza Cave chests are Mimics?
All ten locations below are on B2. The trail numbers follow the chest order used in the GameFAQs walkthrough; room and route directions follow RPG Site’s walkthrough.

How to read the chest numbers
“Chest #1” does not identify one unique chest throughout B2. The trail, south group, and SE group each have their own numbering context. Use the area label alongside the number; otherwise, the same number can point to different chests.
Where Manoza Cave fits into the story
Manoza Cave is southeast of Manoza, and its story objective is to retrieve Ra’s Mirror. B1 has two ordinary treasure chests listed in the walkthrough: Magic Water in the southwest and a Full Moon Ring in the north. On B2, the Mimic-heavy routes are above the destination; Ra’s Mirror is on the B3 island reached by dropping through a hole. Edition matters
This list is for Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake. Older versions have different chest placements and contents, so an NES-era list for the cave southeast of Samanao should not be used to identify the remake’s Mimics.
