That makes Ray the best-documented choice if you have reached Atlanthian City. If not, Teddy on Route 8 is the next listed option.
Trainer XP totals by location
The figures below are the listed experience totals for each trainer’s battle, not a guaranteed award to every Loomian on your team. The Training Hotspots page is community-maintained, and its totals are not an official developer announcement.
| Trainer | Location | Listed XP per battle | Progression context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ray | Atlanthian City, Living District | 3,007 | Best listed hotspot for players who have reached Atlanthian City. |
| Teddy | Route 8 | 1,814 | Listed as the second-best hotspot for players who have passed Sepharite City. |
| Haden | Route 7 | 1,385 | An option for players who have not accessed Route 8. |
| Jenna | Route 5 | 998 | An earlier training hotspot. |
These totals are from the Loomian Legacy Wiki’s Training Hotspots page; they may change as the game is updated.
Which trainer should you use?
If you have reached Atlanthian City
Try Ray in the Living District for the largest listed per-battle total. The total alone does not establish that Ray is the fastest option per minute: the available figures do not compare battle duration, win rate, or travel time.

Check for rematches
The hotspot page marks some trainers as offering rematches. After the initial battle, talk to the trainer and confirm that a rematch is available before planning to farm them; rematch availability is not universal.

Why an individual Loomian may receive a different amount
A trainer’s listed total is useful for comparing opponents, but it is not necessarily the XP awarded to each individual Loomian. The wiki’s Experience page says a Loomian can receive experience if it participated in defeating an opponent and has not fainted, or if it is on the trainer’s bench. It also describes an Experience Boost that can let non-fainted Loomians receive experience without participating. The award is affected by multiple factors, so the trainer’s total should not be read as an individual payout.
