The first two PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games reported as leaving in April 2026 were Lost Records: Bloom & Rage and EA SPORTS PGA TOUR. A March 19 report expected them to leave by April 21, but the list was later updated to six games. That date has passed, so this is a historical account of the reports—not a check of what is currently available in your regional catalog.
The first two games reported to leave
On March 19, 2026, PlayStation LifeStyle reported that Lost Records: Bloom & Rage and EA SPORTS PGA TOUR were listed for removal from the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalog. The report expected them to leave by April 21, 2026. PlayStation LifeStyle’s March 19 report described the list as preliminary and based on Japanese and Asian PlayStation Store listings.

That regional basis matters: the report said other stores could update later and that dates or listings might vary slightly by region. It was not a Sony announcement confirming a worldwide removal schedule.
Why the number became six
The original pair did not remain the whole reported list. On March 25, PlayStation LifeStyle updated its report to include four more titles, bringing the reported total to six:

The March 25 update said the games were expected to leave by April 21, when the next Extra and Premium catalog additions arrived. The two-game count therefore reflects the initial March 19 report, not the later reported list. See the March 25 update.
What Sony’s April announcement did—and did not—confirm
Sony’s April 15 PlayStation.Blog post announced games coming to the April catalog, with the full lineup available April 21. It named incoming titles including The Crew Motorfest and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and noted that catalog lineups may differ by region. It was an additions announcement, not official confirmation of the reported removals. Read Sony’s April catalog announcement.

What “leaving forever” means for subscribers
When a game leaves the Extra or Premium catalog, the subscription no longer provides access to it through that catalog. PlayStation LifeStyle said continued play after removal requires buying the game. “Forever,” however, should not be read as proof that a title can never return to PlayStation Plus; the reports do not establish that. For a particular game’s current availability or purchase options, check the PlayStation Store for your region.
Because April 21, 2026 has passed, consult your regional PlayStation Store’s catalog or Last Chance to Play listings for current or historical regional status rather than treating the March reports as a live availability check.
