On PC, Steam’s Splinter Cell Legacy Collection lists six games: Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory, Double Agent, Conviction and Blacklist. For consoles, Xbox has documented backward compatibility for four original Xbox games on Xbox One. The PlayStation evidence here confirms an older PS3 trilogy, not PS4 or PS5 support. Whether a game is playable on a console and whether it is currently for sale are separate questions.
Which Splinter Cell games are listed for PC?
Steam’s Splinter Cell Legacy Collection lists these six titles for PC:
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Blacklist
This is evidence that the six games are included in a Steam collection, not a guarantee that every title is available as an individual purchase in every region. Ubisoft’s US store franchise results showed Splinter Cell and Pandora Tomorrow; that snapshot does not establish the complete catalog or worldwide availability. Check your regional store listing, system requirements and the specific edition before buying.
Which games have documented Xbox backward compatibility?
In 2019, Xbox Wire announced that four original Xbox games in the series were added to the Xbox One backward-compatibility program:

The announcement described playing with an owned disc or buying digitally through the Microsoft Store at that time. It is historical evidence of Xbox One support, not confirmation that each title can still be purchased digitally in every region or that a particular current Xbox model supports your copy. Check the exact game in the local Xbox store and verify disc compatibility for your console before relying on either route.
What about PlayStation?
PlayStation’s official announcement documents an HD Trilogy for PlayStation 3 containing Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. That establishes a PS3 release only. It does not establish that the trilogy or those games are available or compatible on PS4 or PS5. Treat current PlayStation support as unconfirmed unless the relevant current store listing or compatibility information says otherwise.

How to check before you buy
- Choose the exact game. Several entries have similar names, and the PC collection’s six titles are not the same set as the four original Xbox titles named in the backward-compatibility announcement.
- Check the platform and generation. A PC listing, an Xbox One backward-compatible release and a PS3 edition are different routes; one does not prove support on another system.
- Confirm purchase versus playability. A compatible disc may be usable even if a digital listing is not visible. Conversely, an old store or compatibility announcement does not guarantee a current digital purchase option.
- Check your region and edition. Store catalogs can vary and change. Confirm the exact product page, system requirements or console compatibility details before paying.
- Use authorized PC sellers. Ubisoft recommends its store, Ubisoft Connect PC or authorized distributors; it warns that keys from unauthorized sellers may be invalid or revoked.
