Use Clash Ninja if you want a separate, browser-based overview of unfinished Clash of Clans upgrades and a way to plan builder and laboratory work. Its free Upgrade Tracker covers the Home Village and Builder Base, supports multiple villages, and adds progress and timeline tools. It is most useful when you have many upgrades to coordinate; players who are happy managing everything in the game may not need it.
What Clash Ninja does
Clash Ninja’s Upgrade Tracker records village progress and helps organize future upgrades outside the game. The tracker page lists support through Town Hall 18 and Builder Hall 10 and says it includes the August 2026 update; supported levels can change as Clash of Clans receives updates.

The site also lists guides and a “How long to max?” calculator as separate resources; those are not the same thing as the Upgrade Tracker. Clash Ninja describes its content as unofficial and not endorsed by Supercell.
Who benefits most
The tracker is a good fit if you are juggling a long upgrade backlog, more than one village, or a schedule where keeping builders and the lab busy matters. Its overview helps you see what remains at a Town Hall or Builder Hall level, while the planner lets you arrange future work.

If you prefer to check progress and start upgrades only in Clash of Clans, the extra tracker may add more upkeep than value. A separate tracker is most useful when an at-a-glance plan solves a real organizational problem for you.
How to import village progress
Clash of Clans added a village export option in its June 2025 update. In a July 23, 2025 article, Clash Ninja documented using that export to add a village to the tracker or update an existing one:

- Choose Data Export and tap Copy.
- Paste the copied village data into the Upgrade Tracker to add or update the village.
The export includes village levels and active upgrades, which can reduce manual setup. It is a snapshot, not a live connection: export and upload again after in-game changes if you want the external tracker to reflect them.
Details the export may miss
Clash Ninja’s July 23, 2025 article lists several limits of the export. It may not detect builders working in the Forge, helper levels, cooldowns or assignments, active boosts or potions at export time, or Gold Pass and re-engagement boosts. Timers may therefore need manual adjustment after boosts end. These are the limitations documented in that article and could change as the game or tracker changes.

Clash Ninja says the export contains textual information about the village at the time of export and does not provide account access or personal details. That is the developer’s description, not an independent security audit.
How the planner filters upgrades
The planner can narrow the unassigned-upgrade list by eligibility, required Town Hall or Builder Hall level, text, required resource, and category. Clash Ninja’s February 20, 2022 filtering guide says these filters affect the list of unassigned upgrades, not the Builder or Lab plans already arranged.

Clash Ninja versus the in-game Build interface
These tools serve different purposes. Supercell’s Build interface announcement describes the in-game Build button as the place to manage base upgrades, with tabs for buildings and heroes, army upgrades, Hero Equipment, and Hero Pets. Use the game to view and start upgrades; use Clash Ninja if you want a separate progress overview and a way to plan builder and lab timelines across villages.
What to consider before relying on it
- How you manage progress: A separate tracker helps when you need a persistent overview; it is optional if the in-game interface is enough.
- How current the plan needs to be: Imported data is a snapshot, so later game changes require another export and upload.
- How much detail you need: The planner’s filters can help sort a large unassigned list, but they do not change existing Builder or Lab plans.
- What you expect from it: Clash Ninja describes an external planning and tracking tool, not a replacement for in-game upgrade controls.
Clash Ninja’s homepage identifies the service and its content as unofficial and not endorsed by Supercell. Its July 22, 2020 Stats Tracker introduction describes that feature’s launch as an open beta at the time; that historical description does not establish its current status.
