In WoW Classic: Season of Discovery, you get a Wild Offering by summoning and defeating a Delirious Ancient in an eligible dungeon. You need three offerings for the class-rune objective in The Wild Gods; after completing that objective, you can earn more and spend them at Shadowtooth Emissary. The steps below follow the routes documented in 2024 guides; current realm availability and vendor stock are not confirmed here.
How to start The Wild Gods
- Find Shadowtooth Emissary. Speak to her in Emerald Sanctuary, Felwood. The Wowhead guide lists her approximate location as 51.5, 82: Wowhead’s Paladin rune guide.
- Get Wildwhisper Draught. The guide’s quest route sends you to elite trolls in Jinth’Alor, in the Hinterlands, to obtain it.
- Use the draught in Razorfen Downs. After the Amnennar encounter, use Wildwhisper Draught to summon the Spirit of Agamaggan. Speak with him to continue the quest and receive Agamaggan’s Roar.
- Use Agamaggan’s Roar in an eligible dungeon. Meet the encounter conditions for that dungeon, find the revealed ghostly creature, then use the roar near it to summon a Delirious Ancient.
- Defeat the Ancient and collect the offering. Each Delirious Ancient awards one Wild Offering. Repeat until you have three, then return to Shadowtooth Emissary for the rune objective.
The quest sequence and count are documented in Wowhead’s quest guide and the Wild Offering item entry. The class guide is Paladin-specific; use it for the chain’s route details, not as evidence that the rune reward is Paladin-only.
Where to summon Delirious Ancients
Three dungeon routes are described in the guides. The ghostly creature must be revealed by the relevant dungeon encounters before Agamaggan’s Roar will summon the Ancient.
| Dungeon | What to do | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| Zul’Farrak | Defeat any three bosses, then use Agamaggan’s Roar. | Find the ghostly creature that appears after the encounter requirement. |
| Maraudon | Clear the Princess Theradras area, then use the roar. | The ghostly raptor is on the upper level near the turtles. Find it before jumping down. |
| Blackrock Depths | Complete High Interrogator Gerstahn and Houndmaster Grebmar, and finish the Ring of Law event; then use the roar. | The ghostly basilisk appears on the Dark Iron Highway. |
These triggers and locations are described in the Wowhead guide and Warcraft Tavern’s farming guide.

Which Wild Offering farm route should you use?
The historical Wowhead guide recommends repeating the Princess Theradras portion of Maraudon or running Zul’Farrak rather than traveling between different dungeons. It does not provide run times or comparative efficiency data, so neither route can be called objectively fastest on that evidence.
- Choose Maraudon if your group knows the Princess Theradras route and can reliably check the upper level near the turtles before jumping down.
- Choose Zul’Farrak if your group is comfortable meeting the three-boss trigger there.
- Choose Blackrock Depths when your group prefers that route or wants to complete its required encounters as part of the run.
Stick to a route your group can repeat without unnecessary travel. Group pace, dungeon familiarity, and other objectives matter more than an unverified speed ranking.

What Wild Offerings are used for
Three Wild Offerings are required for the rune objective in The Wild Gods. After that objective is complete, further offerings can be spent with Shadowtooth Emissary. Wowhead’s April 2024 guide describes level-50 vendor rewards, including pre-raid gear priced individually at 12–15 Wild Offerings and Shadowtooth Bags containing random Darkmoon Cards. Those are historical guide details, not confirmation of current vendor stock, prices, or realm availability. Check the quest and vendor in your client before farming for a particular reward.

The route information here comes from game-reference guides, including a Wowhead guide published April 6, 2024, rather than current official Blizzard documentation. No official confirmation establishes whether the quest, encounter triggers, or vendor rewards remain available on every Season of Discovery realm today. If an NPC, item, or trigger does not appear as described, verify your realm’s current state in-game rather than assuming the historical guide reflects a live change.
