Which Pokémon can you find in Wild Zone 5?
Guide lists name Pidgeotto, Abra, Pidgey, Bellsprout and Electrike. Bunnelby and Venipede are disputed: Serebii’s spawn list omits both, Pocket Tactics omits Venipede, and the broader roster reported by other guides includes them. Treat those two as guide-dependent entries, not a universally confirmed list. The listed Pokémon are reported as available at any time of day.
| Pokémon | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Pidgeotto | Roofs in the northeast. Enter the tunnel in the water at the center of the map; after exiting, check the ladder farthest from you. |
| Abra | Roofs reached by a ladder in the northwest. |
| Venipede | Grassy southwest, and the lower area reached through the southeast tunnel. |
| Pidgey, Bunnelby, Bellsprout, Electrike | Listed for Wild Zone 5; exact sub-area not stated consistently by the cited guides. |
Where are the Alpha Pokémon?
- Alpha Bellsprout (Lv. 25): reported in Wild Zone 5.
- Alpha Whirlipede (Lv. 28): beyond the purple sludge in the canal. The tunnel behind the obstruction leads to its area.
- Alpha Gallade (Lv. 70): appears during the Xerneas mission; it is not a regular Wild Zone 5 encounter.
These levels and locations come from guide listings, not official publisher documentation, and could change with updates.

How do you clear the purple sludge?
Use a Water-type move on the purple sludge in the canal. Guides disagree about whether Poison- or Psychic-type moves also work; Water is the type both accounts recommend. Clearing it opens the tunnel to the Alpha Whirlipede area.
