Rockstar has not confirmed whether GTA 6 will let players save custom outfits or change clothes anywhere. Official material does confirm clothing-related content, including Stock 305 Clothing Store and outfits and hairstyles in the Vintage Vice City Pack, but it does not explain how changing clothes works or whether players can save looks.
What Rockstar has confirmed about GTA 6 clothing
Stock 305 Clothing Store
Rockstar lists Stock 305 Clothing Store in its GTA VI edition information. That confirms the named store is part of the announced content; it does not establish whether it is the only place to change clothes or whether outfits can be saved.
Vintage Vice City outfits and hairstyles
Rockstar Support says the Vintage Vice City Pack includes “Outfits and Hairstyles.” The page describes it as a preorder bonus and says digital purchases of either edition before November 20, 2026 receive the pack. This confirms outfit content, not custom-created outfits or a way to save them. See the Rockstar Support details and the official GTA VI media page.
What is still unknown
- Saving custom outfits: Rockstar’s reviewed GTA VI pages do not say whether players can assemble outfits from individual clothing items and save them.
- Changing clothes anywhere: Those pages also do not say whether changing is limited to specific locations or can be done anywhere.
There are no confirmed GTA VI outfit-changing methods to compare yet. Treat both features as unconfirmed unless Rockstar announces them or the released game is checked.

Why GTA Online controls do not answer the question
Rockstar Support documents apparel changes through the Style section of the Interaction Menu for GTA Online. That guidance is for GTA Online, not GTA VI, so it cannot establish the next game’s controls or changing locations. See the GTA Online apparel instructions.
GTA 6 release and platforms
Rockstar currently lists Grand Theft Auto VI for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a release date of November 19, 2026. Rockstar says the physical version is code-in-box, containing a download code rather than a disc. These release details do not clarify the clothing mechanics, and platform or release information may change.
