The most direct purpose-built option identified is Tilter Pro, which its manufacturer describes as an iPad Bluetooth controller with flipper and nudge buttons. Before buying any controller, check support for your exact pinball app and tablet operating system; a Bluetooth connection alone does not guarantee the game will recognize it.
What to check before buying a controller for pinball apps
- Confirm game support. Check the pinball app’s current listing or support information for controller compatibility on your tablet’s operating system. - Check the controller’s input type. On Apple devices, 8BitDo says App Store and Apple Arcade games must support MFi controllers. This is a general compatibility condition, not confirmation that a particular pinball app will work with a particular controller. 8BitDo Apple compatibility information
- Consider the controls you want. A purpose-built pinball controller has flipper and nudge controls; a general gamepad may be easier to use for other games, but the app may not map its buttons to pinball actions as you expect.
- Check the practical details. Review supported OS versions, how the controller charges, its size, whether a tablet clip is included, and the seller’s current price, stock, shipping and return terms in your region.
Purpose-built option: Tilter Pro
Tilter Pinball describes the Tilter Pro as a Bluetooth controller designed for iPad. It has side flipper buttons and nudge buttons, making its physical layout pinball-specific. The manufacturer lists its dimensions as 28 × 20 × 9 cm and claims up to 20 hours of continuous play; these are stated specifications, not independently measured results. The manufacturer names Pinball Arcade, Pinball Arcade Plus, Stern PBA, Pinball Deluxe, Zaccaria Pinball and Zen Pinball Party among compatible examples, while specifying that the games must support controllers. It also notes that Zen Pinball Party requires an Apple Arcade subscription. Treat the list as a starting point: app availability and controller behavior can change, so verify the current version on your device before purchasing. The page displayed a price of €89 when accessed on 2026-09-30; that is a volatile listing, not a guarantee of today’s price or availability in your region.
General Bluetooth gamepads: flexible, but not pinball-specific
A standard Bluetooth gamepad may suit you if your chosen pinball game supports conventional controller input or you also want to play other genres. Compatibility with a tablet’s operating system, however, does not establish that a particular pinball app recognizes that gamepad.

The figures and compatibility details in the table are manufacturer specifications, not independent tests. Neither 8BitDo product page establishes that every pinball app supports the controller or that its buttons provide flipper and nudge controls without configuration. Duo Pinball: a historical iPad accessory
Discovery Bay Games announced Duo Pinball in October 2012 as a Bluetooth controller for iPad, with two side flipper buttons, a spring-loaded plunger, and bump and tilt controls. The announcement said it worked exclusively with Pinball HD and Pinball HD Collection. AtGames Legends GamePad: for its own arcade ecosystem
AtGames describes the Legends GamePad as a wireless controller for Legends Arcade family devices and virtual pinball on the Legends Arcade Platform. The cited product information does not establish it as a general-purpose tablet pinball controller. Manufacturer battery-life figures and compatibility lists help narrow choices, but they do not establish comparative latency, durability, comfort or real-world performance. There is no independent controller test in the cited material. If responsiveness or ergonomics are decisive, look for evidence specific to the exact controller, tablet and game combination rather than treating stated specs as test results.
