In the United States, WNBA League Pass is mainly for live out-of-market games and on-demand viewing. A game shown nationally or by a broadcaster serving your local market may be blacked out live on League Pass. For that game, check its listing on the WNBA schedule to find the live broadcast outlet; replay availability depends on the blackout type.
What WNBA League Pass includes
The current WNBA League Pass product page advertises live out-of-market games, every game on demand, hundreds of classic games, up to three simultaneous devices, selected alternate and Spanish-language feeds, rewind, live stats, and an NBA TV subscription for this season. Live availability varies by country, location and game.
The US annual price shown on the product page is $39.99 per year. Monthly billing is also offered, but its current price is not stated on the page; check the live purchase screen for the amount and billing terms. League Pass can be purchased on WNBA.com and through the WNBA app. The WNBA lists iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku and Apple TV among supported devices, with desktop viewing through its schedule page. Availability can vary by market. The WNBA Help Center explains purchase options and supported devices.
Why a game may be unavailable live on League Pass
League Pass has different blackout rules in the United States and Canada. The WNBA Help Center summarizes the distinction: “In countries where WNBA League Pass is available, all games are available live, except in the US and Canada, where local and national blackouts apply.”

United States: local and national blackouts
In the US, nationally televised games and games carried by a local broadcaster in your area may not be available live on League Pass. The WNBA’s current blackout explanation names ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Disney+, CBS, Paramount+, Amazon Prime Video, NBC, Peacock and USA Network among national distributors associated with blacked-out games. Distributor assignments can change, so check the current game schedule rather than treating that list as permanent. See the WNBA’s blackout guidance.
For local coverage, the relevant market is location-sensitive. The WNBA says location may be determined using your IP address or device location services, and ZIP code is used to determine US local-team coverage. Use the ZIP-code lookup on the League Pass page and check the listing for the specific game.

Canada: selected national blackouts
In Canada, the WNBA says selected nationally televised games are blacked out live on League Pass. Its current guidance names TSN, SN, CTV and CTV2 as Canadian national outlets for those games. Check the schedule for the particular broadcast assignment, since outlets can change. The live route for a blacked-out game is the listed Canadian broadcaster.
Where to watch a blacked-out game, and when it appears on replay
For a live game excluded from League Pass, use the broadcaster or platform named on that game’s current schedule listing. Local games may be carried by a regional sports network, broadcast station or local streaming partner; national games use the listed national outlet. Your existing access to that outlet may be the most direct way to watch live.

Replay timing and blackout rules are stated in the WNBA’s Blackouts help article. These rules do not mean every game is blacked out: League Pass is designed to carry out-of-market games live, subject to applicable restrictions.
What the national schedule means for League Pass
For the 2026 regular season, the WNBA announced 216 nationally distributed games in its April 22, 2026 schedule release. The announced distribution includes ABC/ESPN, Amazon Prime Video, CBS Sports/Paramount+, ION, NBC/Peacock/NBCSN, USA Network and NBA TV, among others. The league describes League Pass as carrying select live games subject to local blackouts and offering its largest on-demand game archive; it does not promise that every nationally televised game will stream live on League Pass. Buying through WNBA or Amazon Prime
You can buy League Pass directly through WNBA.com or the WNBA app, or through Amazon Prime in select markets. A subscription purchased through Prime can be watched only in Amazon Prime apps and on the Prime website; it cannot be used to sign in to WNBA.com or the WNBA app. That difference matters if you want to use the WNBA’s own apps or devices outside Prime’s playback environment.

Which option fits your viewing?
- Choose League Pass for out-of-market live games and replays. Check the game schedule and location lookup first if you need to watch a particular team live.
- Use a local broadcaster for a locally blacked-out game. Confirm which outlet carries the game in your ZIP code.
- Use the listed national outlet for a nationally blacked-out game. The WNBA schedule identifies the game’s assigned broadcaster or platform.
- Compare access you already have before subscribing. The annual League Pass price is listed, but the total cost depends on your existing subscriptions and the prices of local and national services you may need.
- Choose a purchase route based on where you want to watch. Direct WNBA purchases use WNBA-listed devices and services; Prime purchases remain within Prime playback.
