Locker codes only worked inside MyFACTION, and 2K has shut down MyFACTION for WWE 2K24. The official 2K Support server-sunset notice, last updated April 3, 2026, lists the title among discontinued games. As of October 2026, that is the most recent official update we can confirm, so any site still presenting WWE 2K24 codes as active is out of date.
What the shutdown removed
2K’s notice states the practical effect plainly: “Online matches, Community Creations and MyFACTION will no longer be available, and it will no longer be possible to earn Virtual Currency (VC).” Source: 2K Support, “WWE 2K: Server Sunsets,” published August 21, 2025 and updated April 3, 2026.

Still available
- Owners can redownload WWE 2K24 and play its offline modes.
- Offline play does not depend on MyFACTION or the online servers.
No longer available
- Online matches
- Community Creations
- MyFACTION, including the Locker Codes screen
- Earning Virtual Currency (VC)
2K also says WWE 2K24 and other discontinued titles are no longer sold, so a new copy cannot be bought to regain access.
Why old code lists still circulate
Several fan guides still publish WWE 2K24 codes with rewards and expiry dates. The SmackDown Hotel’s “WWE 2K24 Locker Codes List – MyFACTION,” last updated December 10, 2025, is one example. It labels a section “Active” while listing expiry dates in 2024, such as April 1, 2024 and April 10, 2024. Those dates had already passed when the guide was updated, and the label conflicts with 2K’s shutdown notice. Treat such lists as a record of past codes, not a working source.

How redemption worked while MyFACTION was live
For WWE 2K24, codes were entered through the MyFACTION mode. This is the path 2K’s general locker-code instructions describe:
- From the main menu, select MyFACTION.
- Open the Home tab.
- Choose Locker Codes.
- Enter the code exactly as written and confirm.
Source: 2K Support, “WWE 2K: Redeeming Locker Codes,” published March 5, 2025 and updated March 12, 2026. That article also gives an Options-menu route for WWE 2K26. That route belongs to a different game and should not be used for WWE 2K24.

Release context
According to the official WWE 2K24 FAQ, the Standard and Cross-Gen editions were available from March 8, 2024. The Forty Years of WrestleMania and Deluxe editions were available from March 5, 2024. Those dates describe launch availability only and say nothing about current access.

- Confirm you are in WWE 2K24, not WWE 2K26. Codes and menu paths differ between the two.
- Check whether the code appears only on an old guide with a 2024 expiry date.
- Confirm you can reach MyFACTION. If the menu is gone or inaccessible, the mode has been shut down and no code can be entered.
Controllers, manuals, and other accessories do not restore MyFACTION or make a code valid.
