Xbox’s Free Play Days lineup featuring WWE 2K25, DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS, I, Robot, and The Ascent ran from July 31 through August 3, 2025. The promotion has ended; the games are now purchase options rather than active Free Play Days downloads.

WWE 2K25: wrestling modes and roster
Xbox described WWE 2K25 Standard Edition as including “300+ playable characters,” including current Superstars, Legends, and Hall of Famers. Its announcement also highlighted 2K Showcase: The Bloodline’s Dynasty, narrated by Paul Heyman, and a multi-gender MyRISE storyline. These are publisher descriptions, not independent assessments of the game.

DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS: large-scale Three Kingdoms action
Xbox described DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS as a hack-and-slash action game set during China’s Three Kingdoms era, following a nameless hero. Its “1 vs. 1,000” phrase is publisher combat framing, not a measured performance figure. KOEI TECMO America similarly calls it “1 vs. 1,000 action” and identifies the Three Kingdoms setting.

How did players access the event?
During the promotion, Xbox directed eligible players to sign in on each game’s Xbox.com details page to see the install option. On Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, the console route was the Xbox Store’s Subscriptions area and its Free Play Days collection. Those instructions applied to the July–August 2025 event and do not provide a way to claim the games now.
