2K previewed Chapter 2 as upcoming, without giving an exact release date. Its announcement described 11 new quests, 44 new matches, new branded gear in the shops, and a continuation of The Island storyline. These are announcement figures and details, not a description of New Wave.
Where does playable Prime Bottle fit?
Prime Bottle featuring KSI was part of the later Fearless Pack, not the first New Wave Pack. The New Wave announcement said a special celebrity guest would be revealed later but did not name that guest. The subsequent Steam WWE 2K25 DLC listing identifies Prime Bottle featuring KSI with Fearless. Store listings can change.

How the DLC roadmap and Season Pass work
2K’s March 5, 2025 roadmap said the full five-pack slate would contain 25 playable Superstars and celebrities, each with a MyFACTION card. New Wave was scheduled for May and became the first pack in that plan. The official support FAQ says the Season Pass includes all five post-launch DLC character packs plus the SuperCharger. New Wave was also available individually.
The support FAQ lists PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam as supported platforms. It also says The Island is exclusive to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. 2K’s New Wave announcement states that DLC, The Island and MyFACTION require WWE 2K25, an internet connection and a 2K Account; minimum age requirements vary.

Check console-generation compatibility
DLC does not carry over between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The FAQ says those generations have cross-progression and a shared VC wallet, but not DLC transfer. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S share a VC wallet, but do not have cross-progression, according to the same support page. Check the platform and generation before buying.
A physical copy of the Standard Edition is the base game, not the New Wave Pack or The Island Chapter 2; the support FAQ lists the Standard Edition in digital and physical forms. Do not assume either update is bundled with a physical base-game copy.
