Not as a commercial VR release. A September 2022 Futurism report described a private Blade & Sorcery mod in which players fought fictionalized Ku Klux Klan enemies. The mod was not publicly available at the time, and its creator said it probably never would be.
What the 2022 story actually reported
Futurism reported on September 19, 2022, that a modder using the name JackTheFallout had made a private modification for Blade & Sorcery. The scenario placed Klan members in the game’s medieval-fantasy combat sandbox, allowing players to attack them with the same physics-driven weapons, ranged attacks and magic used elsewhere in the game.
The report described the scenes as graphic and said access was limited because of the mod’s controversial subject matter. This was an in-game depiction involving fictional enemies, not an endorsement of real-world violence or a simulation of an actual attack.
JackTheFallout told Futurism, “I have always wanted to do that!” and described the target group as “very fun to kill in video games.” Those statements were quoted by the reporter; the available material does not provide an independently archived primary transcript or a verified current statement from the modder.

Was the KKK mod ever released?
There is no established public release to point readers toward. In an archived Reddit post quoted by Futurism, JackTheFallout wrote that the mod “is not available as of yet, and probably never will be.” That is the release status documented by the 2022 report, not proof of what may have happened afterward.
Because the mod was private and no reliable current distribution record has been published, treat websites claiming to offer a download with caution. A file using the mod’s name could be unofficial, altered, malicious or unrelated. Do not present it as an authenticated download without a verifiable statement from its creator and a trustworthy hosting record.

What game is it built for?
Blade & Sorcery is a VR-only combat sandbox from WarpFrog. Its central systems model weapon contact and body movement with physics rather than using conventional flat-screen action controls. Players can use melee weapons, bows and other ranged tools, plus magic. The official PC listing also advertises mod support and frequent violence and gore.
The base game is commercially available separately from the reported private modification. Owning Blade & Sorcery does not mean that this Klan-focused scenario is included.

You need a PC-connected VR setup that works through SteamVR or Oculus PCVR, along with a Windows computer meeting the game’s requirements. No current official headset-by-headset compatibility list or pricing is established, and no current official statement confirms whether a particular standalone headset can run the PC version without a suitable PC connection.

In practical terms, the headset is only one part of the setup: the computer renders the game, the VR runtime handles tracking, and the controllers provide the hand and weapon input that the physics system uses.

No. The novelty reported by Futurism was the apparent use of Klan enemies in a VR scenario, not the first appearance of the group in a video game.

Games have also long used fascist or racist enemies as fictional antagonists. The Wolfenstein series, beginning with Wolfenstein 3D in 1992, is a prominent example involving Nazis. Those broader precedents are why the careful claim is “a reported KKK-fighting VR mod,” not “the first game where players can kill Klan members.”
Why VR changes the question
In a conventional game, the player operates through a screen and standardized buttons. Blade & Sorcery instead lets players reach, swing, block and handle weapons in tracked space. That physical immediacy is the reason the report treated the mod as notable, while also emphasizing its graphic and controversial nature.
The same immediacy makes content warnings especially important. Anyone considering user-created VR content should check its description, understand that violence and gore may be intense, and avoid downloading files from sources that cannot be verified.
