शुरू करने से पहले: channel और live-stream eligibility

अपने YouTube channel को verify करें और live streaming सक्षम करें। पहली बार सुविधा चालू होने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं। YouTube की eligibility guidance के अनुसार, channel पर पिछले 90 दिनों में live-stream restriction नहीं होनी चाहिए।

Live Control Room में stream बनाएं
YouTube Studio खोलें और Live Control Room में stream बनाएं। YouTube से मिला server URL और stream key अपने encoder में डालें। Stream key को password की तरह गोपनीय रखें; इसे सार्वजनिक रूप से साझा न करें। Encoder software या hardware हो सकता है।

कहानी और audio स्रोत चुनें
Prerecorded stories चलाने के लिए encoder में अपनी तैयार वीडियो और audio सामग्री चुनें। मूल narration के लिए microphone या अन्य audio hardware इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है, लेकिन YouTube किसी खास microphone की जरूरत या model की सिफारिश नहीं करता। Audio साफ है या नहीं, इसे stream शुरू करने से पहले सुनकर जांचें।

24/7 प्रसारण बनाम एक लंबी stream
लगातार प्रसारण के लिए जरूरी नहीं कि एक ही session पूरे 24 घंटे चले। YouTube Help के अनुसार 12 घंटे से छोटी stream स्वतः archive हो सकती है, जबकि 12 घंटे से लंबी stream शायद capture न हो। यह archive की सीमा है—यह uninterrupted uptime या अपने-आप restart होने की गारंटी नहीं है।

YouTube local archive को backup के रूप में सुझाता है। इसलिए रिकॉर्डिंग चाहिए तो केवल YouTube archive पर निर्भर न रहें; अपने encoder या recording setup में स्थानीय प्रति भी बनाएं। YouTube की guidance archive सीमा बताती है, अलग schedules के दर्शक अनुभव या performance की तुलना नहीं।
बच्चों के लिए सही audience setting चुनें
अगर stories खास तौर पर बच्चों को लक्ष्य करके बनाई गई हैं, तो YouTube की audience setting में उन्हें “Made for kids” के रूप में सही तरह चिह्नित करें। YouTube कहता है कि बच्चों को लक्ष्य करने वाली कहानियां इस श्रेणी में आ सकती हैं; अंतिम designation creator की जिम्मेदारी है।
Made-for-kids live streams में live chat, live chat replay और Super Chat जैसे features बंद रहते हैं। Personalized ads disabled होते हैं, हालांकि contextual ads दिख सकते हैं। इन सीमाओं को stream की योजना बनाते समय ध्यान में रखें।

कहानियों, संगीत और चित्रों के अधिकार जांचें
लोकप्रिय कहानी, उसका अनुवाद, audiobook recording, illustrations और background music—इनमें से किसी को भी स्वतः मुफ्त या प्रसारण के लिए खुला न मानें। हर कहानी, narration recording, चित्र और संगीत के लिए उपयोग-अधिकार स्पष्ट करें या ऐसी सामग्री चुनें जिसकी अनुमति साफ तौर पर मिली हो।
भारत के Copyright Act में “communication to the public” में किसी work को diffusion के जरिए जनता के लिए उपलब्ध कराना शामिल है। यह सामान्य जानकारी है, व्यक्तिगत कानूनी सलाह नहीं। उपयोग से पहले अधिकारों की शर्तें समझें और जरूरत हो तो योग्य कानूनी सलाह लें।
कमाई की उम्मीद और सामग्री की गुणवत्ता
YouTube की monetization policy live streams पर भी लागू होती है। 15 जुलाई 2025 के policy update में YouTube ने repetitive या mass-produced सामग्री के लिए “inauthentic content” नाम स्पष्ट किया और कहा कि ऐसी सामग्री पहले से monetization के योग्य नहीं थी। Made-for-kids channels पर बच्चों और परिवारों के लिए उसकी quality principles भी लागू होती हैं।
इसलिए केवल एक ही story feed को loop करने या बार-बार दोहराने से monetization की गारंटी नहीं मिलती। मौलिक, उपयोगी और उच्च-गुणवत्ता वाली सामग्री बनाएं; stream का 24/7 चलना अपने आप कमाई का आधार नहीं है।

Live streaming चालू नहीं हो रही: channel verification और live-stream eligibility जांचें। पहली बार सुविधा सक्षम होने में 24 घंटे तक लग सकते हैं; पिछले 90 दिनों में restriction भी eligibility को प्रभावित कर सकती है।

Encoder YouTube से stream नहीं कर रहा: Live Control Room में बनाए गए stream का server URL और stream key encoder में सही दर्ज होने की पुष्टि करें। Stream key गोपनीय रखें।
