Lekin installation aur YouTube Live setup alag kaam hain: stream ke liye gaming video, YouTube Live Control Room ka server URL aur stream key, sahi encoder settings, aur VPS se YouTube tak stable upload chahiye. Neeche poora DIY workflow hai, looping ki timestamp caveat samet.
1. VPS aur YouTube channel ki eligibility jaanchein
Command chalane se pehle pakka karein ki aapka Ubuntu VPS online hai aur aap us par sudo access rakhte hain. Saath hi, YouTube channel live streaming ke liye eligible hona chahiye: YouTube ke mutabik channel verified ho, pichhle 90 din mein live-streaming restriction na ho, aur minimum age 16 saal hai. Agar Live Control Room stream shuru karne ki anumati nahin deta, to pehle account eligibility ka masla hal karein; FFmpeg command is restriction ko bypass nahin kar sakti. 2. Ubuntu par FFmpeg install aur verify karein
Ubuntu ke APT package manager se FFmpeg install karein:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install ffmpeg
ffmpeg -versionUbuntu release aur configured repositories ke hisaab se package version badal sakta hai; Ubuntu 24.04 Noble ka version har Ubuntu server ka version nahin hota. 3. Video file VPS par taiyar karein
File upload karein aur path confirm karein
Apni prerecorded gaming recording VPS par upload karein. Aage ke commands mein /path/to/gameplay.mp4 ko us file ke asli path se badlein. File ka exact naam aur extension check karein; galat path ya unreadable file se FFmpeg input khol nahin payega.
Video aur audio streams jaanchein
Stream chalane se pehle file mein video aur audio tracks maujood hain ya nahin, yeh verify karein. Udaharan ke liye:

ffprobe -hide_banner /path/to/gameplay.mp4Output se codec, resolution, frame rate, audio stream aur duration ka andaza milega. Yeh jaankari output settings chunne aur baad mein playback ki dikkat samajhne mein madad karti hai.
4. YouTube Live Control Room se destination lein
- YouTube Studio kholkar Create → Go live se Live Control Room par jaayein, phir stream banayein ya pehle se maujood stream chunein.
- Control Room mein dikhaya gaya current server URL aur stream key copy karein. YouTube kehta hai: “To start streaming, enter your YouTube Live server URL and stream key into your encoder.” YouTube encoder setup instructions dekhein.
- Stream key ko password jaisa secret samjhein. Use public script, screenshot, post ya kisi aur ke saath share na karein. Command history aur process listings mein bhi credential dikh sakta hai; VPS par private configuration ya protected environment ka istemal karein, aur key ko public jagah paste na karein. Agar key expose ho jaaye, YouTube Studio mein use reset/replace karein.
YouTube ka diya hua exact ingest URL aur key hi istemal karein. Generic RTMP example ko apne Control Room ke destination par tarjeeh na dein.

5. Encoder settings aur VPS capacity chunen
YouTube ki current encoder guidance H.264, H.265/HEVC ya AV1 video; AAC ya MP3 audio; CBR; 60 fps tak frame rate; aur do-second keyframe frequency recommend karti hai, jo chaar second se zyada nahin honi chahiye. Bitrate codec, resolution aur frame rate ke saath badalta hai. H.264 ke YouTube-recommended examples:

Yeh YouTube recommendations hain, kisi khaas VPS par guaranteed performance nahin. Apne source ki resolution aur frame rate ke mutabik output set karein; output quality badhane se encoding aur network ki zaroorat badh sakti hai. VPS ko video encode karne layak CPU/encoder capacity aur chune hue bitrate se zyada sustainable outbound bandwidth chahiye. Upload headroom rakhein, VPS network capacity ka test karein, aur YouTube ki stream-health reading monitor karein. Test mein gameplay jaisi movement aur audio rakhein, kyunki kam movement wali clip asli load ko nahin dikhati. YouTube ki settings aur RTMPS guidance ke liye YouTube Live encoder settings dekhein.

6. FFmpeg se prerecorded gaming video live bhejein
Yeh RTMP-style starting template hai; values har file, FFmpeg build, YouTube stream ya VPS ke liye sahi hon, yeh guaranteed nahin. Doosri terminal line mein apne video path, YouTube Control Room ke exact destination aur key ko private tareeqe se configure karein. YouTube RTMPS recommend karta hai; agar Control Room RTMPS URL deta hai, wahi istemal karein.

Is template mein 4500k bitrate aur 60-frame GOP sirf misaali values hain—YouTube ke upar diye gaye resolution/frame-rate recommendations se milane ke liye bitrate aur keyframe interval badlein. Agar source codec, resolution ya frame rate ko jaisa hai waisa bhejna chahte hain, to transcoding ke bajaye stream copy karna alag configuration hai; pehle usse YouTube ingest par test karein.

FFmpeg ke RTMP documentation mein -re ke saath RTMP destination par -f flv publishing ka pattern diya gaya hai. RTMP URL mein server aur app/playpath ke hisse ho sakte hain, isliye YouTube Control Room ka provided destination generic URL syntax se zyada authoritative hai. Ubuntu Noble FFmpeg manpage dekhein.
7. Loop ko test karein—timestamps ka masla aa sakta hai
Rerun ke liye loop option laga dena kaafi nahin. FFmpeg ki loop documentation chetavani deti hai ki repeated input ke timestamps rewrite nahin hote aur non-monotonic timestamps ban sakte hain. Isse exact file aur installed FFmpeg build ke saath test karein, logs dekhein, aur YouTube Live Control Room mein stream health aur playback check karein. -stream_loop -1 ko bhi bina test ke har build/file par kaam karne wala na maanein; FFmpeg ke version ke mutabik behavior verify karein. Loop filter ke documented semantics ke liye Ubuntu FFmpeg filter manual dekhein.
Shuruat mein lambi unattended stream ke bajaye chhota test karein: pehla playback, loop boundary, audio, aur Control Room ka stream-health status dekhein. Agar boundary par error aaye, log mein timestamp aur muxing errors par gaur karein aur timestamp handling ko apne installed build ke mutabik adjust karein.

9. DIY VPS ka kharcha aur dekhbhaal
Yeh workflow rented VPS, uski storage/network capacity aur aapki FFmpeg configuration par nirbhar hai. Kisi provider ka kharcha ya machine size yahan tay nahin kiya ja sakta; apne VPS plan ki CPU/encoding capability, disk space aur sustained outbound bandwidth ko stream settings se milayein. FFmpeg ko SSH session se chalane par terminal disconnect hone ke baad process ka rehna aapke run method par nirbhar karta hai. Agar aap unattended operation chahte hain, process supervision, logs aur restart behavior ko alag se configure aur test karein—command chal jaana apne aap recovery ki guarantee nahin hai.
