Spoilers for the story memories: Tears of the Dragon has 11 geoglyphs tied to the first 11 Dragon’s Tears, plus a twelfth tear at Rist Peninsula that appears after you find the others. The first 11 can be collected in any order; use the numbered route below to see their memories in the intended reveal sequence.

How the Dragon’s Tears quest works

The investigation begins with “Impa and the Geoglyphs” near New Serenne Stable. Finding the first tear in the Rauru geoglyph leads into “The Dragon’s Tears.” The quest points you toward the Forgotten Temple, where a map of Hyrule and 11 murals connect the geoglyphs to the investigation. After you find all 11 geoglyph tears, the final tear is marked at Rist Peninsula in Akkala. Kiranico’s quest-data page reproduces the relevant Adventure Log text.

All Dragon’s Tear locations and memories

Use the region and landmark to identify each site, then look for the tear pool at the described part of the geoglyph. Coordinates are approximate guide references, not guaranteed pin-perfect values; if one seems off, trust the map marker and visible landmark. The sequence and memory names below follow Nintendo Life’s location guide.

Choose a route: story order or map progress

For the intended memory sequence

Collect the first 11 in the numbered order above. The Forgotten Temple’s map and murals provide the in-game context for following the geoglyph investigation, and this order preserves the guide’s intended reveal sequence.

For flexible exploration

You can collect the first 11 tears in any order; the game does not require you to visit every geoglyph sequentially. Choose locations based on the Skyview Towers you have unlocked, nearby landmarks, travel distance, and whether the tear’s position or elevation makes access convenient. Tower approaches can help at some sites, but the best route depends on your map access, stamina, and progress.
