Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →The Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition Nintendo Switch Pro Controller was reported at $70 on October 5, 2026, but that dated deal report does not confirm the offer is still live or identify a verified seller. Nintendo’s original 2023 MSRP was $74.99, so $70 is $4.99 below that launch price before shipping or taxes—not a verified 22% discount against Nintendo’s MSRP.
What the $70 offer actually means
9to5Toys reported a $70 price and labeled it 22% off on October 5, 2026. The report also said shipping was free for Prime members and $6 otherwise. Its merchant redirect could not be confirmed, so the named retailer, fulfilling seller, current stock, price, and shipping terms remain unverified. Check those details at checkout before buying; the report is not proof of a live offer.
Nintendo announced the controller for separate release on May 12, 2023, at an original MSRP of $74.99. That makes the reported $70 price $4.99 below the launch MSRP before fees and taxes. The deal report’s “Reg. $90+” and 22%-off framing uses a different reference price, not Nintendo’s original MSRP.
Which controller is this?
Nintendo’s US store lists it as the Pro Controller – Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Special Edition, SKU 117075. It is a special-edition Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, not a different controller model. Nintendo’s product page does not establish a current store price or availability.
