If you want to solve the puzzle as intended, do not rely only on the number. Read the Security Notice beside the laundry-room door, then follow its direction to the Manager’s Office. The office contains the Security Note that reveals the four-digit code.
Where to find the clue
The clue is in the restricted reception and staff-only section of the hotel. Look for the Manager’s Office, then inspect the desk inside. A document named Security Note provides the number 1805.

Walkthroughs published or verified in May and June 2026 describe two ways to reach the office. They generally identify the route through the room used by the maids as the easier approach, although the best route can depend on your position, alert status and how you are moving through the hotel.
Step-by-step route to the keypad code
- Locate the laundry-room door. Interact with the door or keypad and read the nearby Security Notice. This establishes that the clue is elsewhere rather than at the keypad itself.
- Move toward reception and the staff-only area. You need the restricted section containing the Manager’s Office, not another office or a general hotel room.
- Choose an approach to the Manager’s Office. Guides describe entering through the room with the maids or moving through the adjacent guard area. The maid-room route is commonly described as easier, but it is walkthrough advice rather than a guaranteed safest option in every playthrough.
- Enter the Manager’s Office. Search the desk and interact with the Security Note.
- Return to the laundry-room door. Use the keypad and enter 1805.
Why the notice and the code seem to conflict
The notice at the door says the laundry code changes daily. However, a walkthrough reports that the code remains 1805 across playthroughs. Treat the fixed-code claim as guide-reported gameplay behavior, not as an independently verified rule. In practical terms, 1805 is the number guides give for this mission and location.

If 1805 does not open the laundry room
- Confirm the mission. This solution applies to “All the Time in the World” at the Grand Carpathian Hotel. A different mission objective or hotel area may use another interaction.
- Check that you are using the laundry-room keypad. The Manager’s Office is where you find the clue; it is not the door where you enter the number.
- Read the Security Note first. If the objective has not advanced, interact with the document on the office desk rather than simply leaving after entering the room.
- Enter all four digits in order. The sequence is 1-8-0-5, with the zero included as the third digit.
- Recheck the route and room. The restricted reception/staff section contains multiple rooms and access points. If you have reached a guard area but cannot find the office, retrace the adjacent staff rooms and look for the Manager’s Office desk.
