The best Fortnite Halloween skins combine instantly spooky designs, memorable characters, and enough variety to suit different tastes. This editorial shortlist spans Fortnite’s original seasonal outfits and licensed horror icons; it is not an official ranking, and Epic has not published a universal measure of which skins are “best.”
What are the best Fortnite Halloween skins?
These ten picks are ordered to balance Halloween styling, character recognition, distinctive looks, and the mix of Fortnite originals and crossovers. Epic’s announcements confirm the outfits’ Fortnitemares or Item Shop appearances, but the ordering and design judgments below are editorial.

Use the kind of look you want as your guide: the list covers Fortnite originals and licensed characters, from skeletons and classic monsters to slashers and supernatural horror. Are these Fortnite Halloween skins available now?
Past Fortnitemares appearances do not establish that an Outfit is in the Item Shop today. Stock changes, so check Fortnite’s Item Shop for the current selection before planning a purchase. Epic’s 2026 event announcement reported that Five Nights at Freddy’s Outfits were live at that time; it also described other franchise arrivals scheduled through October, which should not be treated as a current or future guarantee.
For older Battle Pass items, Epic’s 2024 policy says qualifying future Battle Pass items might be offered in the Shop after 18 months or more, but explicitly gives no guarantee that any particular item will return. Read Epic’s Battle Pass policy announcement.
