Cooking skill and ingredient quality
Cooking skill and talent effects can affect extra-food chances and cooked-food outcomes. Recommendations therefore need to state whether they assume a developed cooking skill or special ingredient quality. Without those assumptions, players may not get the result a recipe ranking implies. The Cooking Skill reference outlines this context, though the community wiki may not reflect current game data.

Overlapping ingredient effects
A cooking-mechanics reference says overlapping effects do not simply stack and that the stronger overlapping ingredient effect applies. Because that precise rule could not be checked against current English-language game data, treat it as a point to confirm in your game rather than a guaranteed current mechanic. Are there verified top ten recipes for version 1.3?
Not from the recipe details available here. A searchable CoreKeeper Wiki cooking reference identifies its game data as build 1.3.0.2-182b, while a community result advertises a “Full Cooking Buff List for 1.3” published September 21, 2026. The full recipe tables and values were not available for inspection, so those listings do not establish a defensible current ranking.
For an accurate list, check the in-game recipe book or an accessible current database and verify each dish’s ingredients, effects, and any assumptions about skill or ingredient quality. Recheck the list after balance updates; recipe recommendations are version-sensitive.

- Set a goal. Decide whether the food is for damage, survival, resource support, minions, or exploration.
- Check recipes in the live game. Use the recipe book to confirm that a combination is available and record the current result.
- Compare practicality. Consider ingredient access, farming effort, buff usefulness, and relevant duration or survival value.
