Women’s football is a defining addition to FM26. SEGA says the women’s database covers 14 leagues across 11 countries and three continents; that scope is distinct from Sports Interactive’s separate figure of 58 playable nations. The game also launched across platforms on different dates: Sports Interactive announced FM26 on November 4, 2025, while SEGA’s November 5, 2025 notice lists launch information for its territories and platforms and gives December 4 for Nintendo Switch. The Switch product is Football Manager 26 Touch, with physical and digital editions. Check your region and edition before buying, since platform timing and available club or player assets can vary.
