For a browser FPS you can actually try now, Krunker and Venge.io have official browser-play pages, while Bullet Force has a current desktop-browser listing on CrazyGames.
What this list can—and cannot—tell you
Tech News Today published the original list on March 3, 2024. Its entries were Rush Team, Superhot’s browser teaser, Wolfenstein 3D, Krunker, Global Strike, Doom 3D, War Brokers, Bullet Force, Warmerise: Red vs. Blue, and Mini Royale 2. The article’s descriptions and ordering were editorial judgments at that time, not the results of current comparative testing. Read the 2024 list.

That distinction matters: a game appearing in a 2024 browser-game roundup does not establish that it still runs, that its original hosting page remains available, or that it works in every modern browser. Current evidence is strongest for Krunker, Venge.io, and Bullet Force; the other games below are best treated as leads from the original list whose present availability has not been verified.

Browser FPS games with current play pages
Krunker: a fast multiplayer option
Krunker’s official site currently displays a browser game interface and identifies the version as v1.5.3. It recommends Chrome at 60 FPS or the official client; that is the site’s recommendation, not a guarantee of a particular frame rate on every device. The client is an option, so the browser interface is the relevant place to start if you want to avoid a download. Check Krunker’s official site.

Venge.io: browser play with hero abilities
Venge.io explicitly describes itself as playable in a browser without downloading. Its site describes four unlockable heroes with different weapons and abilities, and gives WASD movement with mouse aiming and shooting. A Windows client is also offered, but the site does not present it as necessary for browser play. Visit Venge.io.
Bullet Force: several modes and bot play
CrazyGames lists Bullet Force as a desktop-only browser game and also identifies iOS and Android apps. Its listing names Team Deathmatch (TDM), Free for All (FFA), Conquest, and Gun Game, and says offline bot play is available. How to choose among the original ten
- Want multiplayer action? The 2024 article framed Rush Team, Krunker, Global Strike, War Brokers, Bullet Force, Warmerise, and Mini Royale 2 as multiplayer options. Of those, current browser access is established here for Krunker and Bullet Force; do not assume the others remain playable.
- Prefer a solo or retro experience? The article described Superhot’s teaser as a short solo experience and Wolfenstein 3D and Doom 3D as retro browser ports. Their current access was not verified, so check the relevant game or host page before relying on an old link.
- Want a battle royale format? War Brokers and Mini Royale 2 were the list’s battle royale-oriented choices. Those are descriptions from the 2024 article, not confirmation that either game is currently available.
- Need a browser-only starting point? Begin with the official Krunker or Venge.io page, or the CrazyGames Bullet Force listing, and check the displayed requirements and controls on the page you use.
What “no download” means in practice
Browser access does not mean every game has identical requirements. Some titles may be available only through a particular host or browser, and a publisher may offer an optional client alongside the web version. The 2024 list included a Flash-based description for Rush Team, but that is dated information; do not follow old advice to install Adobe Flash Player. Use the game’s current official page or host listing for present-day access requirements.
