What “fastest” means in this 2021 countdown
Broughy1322’s video is titled “Top 10 Fastest Cars (2021) – GTA 5 Best Fully Upgraded Cars Top Speed Countdown.” Its ranking is based on the highest constant speed a vehicle reaches after acceleration stops, rather than its lap time. Watch the 2021 countdown.

That distinction matters in practice: a car that excels on a long straight may not be the quickest around a circuit. Lap performance also depends on factors such as cornering and braking, so a top-speed position alone does not establish which car is best for racing overall.
How Broughy measured top speed
Broughy’s methodology describes five runs for each fully upgraded car on a measured 0.2-mile section of regular road. The times are averaged and converted to speed, with results rounded to the nearest 0.25 mph. This repeatable approach is more useful for comparing vehicles than relying on menu stat bars or casual driving observations. Broughy cautions that menu stats and non-digital in-game speedometers are inaccurate; road slope, surface, driving inputs, online connectivity, and other circumstances can also affect informal readings.
Why the ten names and speeds are not listed here
The available text for the 2021 video confirms its title and ranking metric, but does not provide the individual vehicle names or their speed results. Without the video entries or its linked data, a numbered list or speed table cannot be verified. Supplying specific cars or figures anyway would turn an unconfirmed ranking into a guess.

Broughy’s testing archive describes a series that began with fully upgraded lap-time testing in 2014 and added top-speed tests in 2015. The creator says the archive spans over 500 videos and 750 vehicles tested; those are Broughy’s own figures, and the archive does not state when they were published. Do not treat this countdown as a guide to the fastest cars available today. GTA Online’s vehicle roster and upgrade options have changed since 2021. Current rankings may include later vehicles and HSW upgrades, which should be treated as separate conditions rather than folded into a historical list. GTAside’s 2026 ranking distinguishes straight-line speed from lap time and lists HSW-upgraded vehicles separately.
