Accessibility features can make a game easier to see, hear, control, navigate, or play at a more comfortable pace—but no single checklist makes a game accessible to everyone. These ten games offer documented options that address different needs. Check the platform, edition, language, and current update before buying: features can vary, and the examples below are not universal compatibility guarantees.
How to use this list
Match features to the barrier you want to address, rather than comparing games by the number of settings they advertise. Counts may use different definitions, and one option can be essential for one player but irrelevant to another. Microsoft’s Xbox Accessibility Guideline 121 says that accessible, easy-to-find feature documentation gives players a better opportunity to assess a game before purchasing it.
The examples below reflect the cited official documentation, which ranges from launch-era articles to pages without a stated publication date. They are not a guarantee that every option is present on every platform or in every current version.
Games with vision and navigation options
The Last of Us Part II
PlayStation reported more than 60 accessibility settings in a June 9, 2020 feature article, including expanded fine-motor and hearing options and features intended to help low-vision and blind players. The count is PlayStation’s reported total at that time, not a measure directly comparable with other games’ counts. PlayStation’s accessibility feature article describes the breadth of its options.

God of War Ragnarök
PlayStation’s official page reports more than 70 accessibility features. Among the documented options are vision-related settings and a screen reader that assists with navigating selected menus. The page does not state a publication date, and its total should not be treated as a standardized score against other games. Sea of Thieves
UI narration is among the options on Sea of Thieves’ official accessibility page. The studio said that, as of September 2021, at least 39 updates had included accessibility improvements or new features; that is a dated update count, not a current total of settings. Sea of Thieves’ accessibility page is the place to check its listed options.

Games with captions and hearing support
Forza Horizon 5
Xbox Wire’s November 2021 feature article describes American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation for cinematics, customizable subtitles, high-contrast and color-blindness modes, audio adjustments, and controller remapping. It also describes a game-speed modification for offline play; the offline restriction matters if you want that option during online sessions. Minecraft
Minecraft’s official accessibility page says that all Minecraft games have an Accessibility menu, with shared options and game-specific features. For Bedrock Edition, the page lists text-to-speech, closed captions, visual settings, and GUI scaling. Do not assume an option listed for Bedrock is also available in another edition. Minecraft’s accessibility page distinguishes the documented options.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Insomniac’s support page lists audio descriptions and caption customization alongside combat and navigation assists. Some listed options are update-dependent, so check the current version notes and in-game settings for the platform you use. Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 accessibility guide identifies those options and update qualifications.
Games with flexible controls and input
Gears 5
Microsoft’s accessibility feature-tag documentation uses Gears 5 as an example of single-stick controls and of documenting in-game accessibility features. That supports it as a candidate for players seeking single-stick input, but the cited reference is general tag guidance rather than a complete, current inventory of Gears 5 settings. Check the game’s own documentation for the options on your version. Microsoft’s Xbox Accessibility Guideline 121 explains the value of clearly documented features, and Microsoft’s feature-tag guidance gives the Gears 5 example.

Horizon Forbidden West
PlayStation’s February 10, 2022 feature article describes a co-pilot system: a second controller with mirrored controls can give another person access to the game. It also lists options to adjust vibration or disable adaptive triggers, plus five difficulty settings, including Story Mode. These address different needs—shared input, controller feedback, and challenge—rather than one universal accessibility setting. PlayStation’s feature overview describes the options.
Forza Horizon 5
In addition to its hearing and visual options, the 2021 Xbox Wire article reports controller remapping and audio and difficulty adjustments. Those can help players tailor input and challenge; its speed modification is specifically described as an offline feature. The Xbox Wire overview provides the reported details.

Games with adjustable pace or challenge
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Insomniac lists adjustable enemy health and damage, chase assistance, aim toggles, combat-camera options, and game-speed settings at 30%, 50%, and 70% of real time. These settings can address challenge, timing, aiming, or camera comfort in different ways; they are not interchangeable. The support page marks some options as update-dependent, so confirm their availability in your current version. Insomniac’s support guide describes the options.
Horizon Forbidden West
The five difficulty settings PlayStation described in February 2022 include Story Mode. The game also documents co-pilot access and controller-feedback adjustments, which may matter even if difficulty itself is not the barrier you need to address. PlayStation’s feature article explains its setup.
Mortal Kombat 1
WB Games Support’s guide describes directional audio cues when a player arrives at an Invasions location and notes that the game autosaves. The guide is a useful starting point for locating those features, but it does not establish a complete inventory of accessibility settings. Consult WB Games Support’s Mortal Kombat 1 guide for its documented details.
Check the exact version before choosing
Feature names alone do not tell you whether an option works where you need it. Before purchase, look for the specific platform and edition, whether the feature applies in menus, gameplay, or cinematics, and any limits such as offline-only operation or an update requirement. A game’s accessibility page or support guide is more useful for this decision than a headline count.
Accessibility is personal: a feature list can help you screen games, but it cannot prove that a game will work for every player with a particular disability. For alternative input, Xbox says its Adaptive Controller connects to external switches, mounts, and joysticks to create a customizable setup. It is an optional hardware path, not a requirement for these games, and compatibility depends on the setup and platform.
