The ASUS ROG Ally’s 2024 co-op and multiplayer list spans story adventures, couch-party games, sports, and online competition. It includes A Way Out, Cuphead, Divinity: Original Sin II, FIFA 24, It Takes Two, Moving Out, NBA 2K24, Overcooked! 2, Rocket League, Stardew Valley, and Street Fighter 6. The source article was published July 19, 2023, and updated January 2, 2024, so this is a dated selection—not a freshly tested or current-release ranking.
How to read this co-op and multiplayer list
Co-op is a kind of multiplayer: players work together toward shared objectives. Multiplayer also includes competitive games, and either kind can be local or online. The list mixes those formats rather than ranking eleven games by one common measure.
The original 2024 list and the ASUS companion article identify these titles, but the available sources do not establish each game’s current player count, local or online modes, storefront availability, or handheld compatibility badge. Check the game’s current official store listing before buying, especially if you need a specific local-play arrangement or online service.
Cooperative story and adventure games
A Way Out
A cooperative story title on the original list. ASUS also included it among its couch co-op recommendations. Confirm its current local and online options, player requirements, and storefront details on the official listing before choosing it for your setup.

Quick local party play
Moving Out
Moving Out is on the original list and ASUS’s couch co-op recommendations. ASUS’s 2023 dock announcement specifically mentioned Moving Out as a game for TV-connected play with extra controllers; that statement does not confirm the current features or availability of every version.

Sports and competitive multiplayer
FIFA 24
The list names FIFA 24, a dated sports-game entry. Verify the exact product name, current availability, multiplayer modes, and online-service status on the relevant official store page rather than assuming the 2024 listing describes a current release.

NBA 2K24
NBA 2K24 is also part of the dated sports selection. ASUS’s 2023 dock announcement discussed NBA 2K23, not NBA 2K24; it should not be treated as confirmation of the latter’s current features or availability. Check the current official listing for mode and service details.
Rocket League
Rocket League adds a competitive multiplayer option. Confirm the current supported modes, online-service status, and storefront requirements before making it your choice for a particular group.

Relaxed cooperative play
Stardew Valley
ASUS describes Stardew Valley as supporting up to four-player cooperative play. That is a gameplay capability, not a guarantee that every platform or version offers identical arrangements; check the current listing for local-versus-online details and player requirements.
Playing together on an ROG Ally
The ROG Ally is a Windows handheld. ASUS’s 2023 launch announcement described support for PC game platforms including Steam, the EA App, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, Epic Games Store, and GOG Galaxy 2.0. That launch-era statement is not a guarantee that a particular game remains listed, works perfectly, or has active online services.
For TV-connected local play, ASUS says its optional ROG Gaming Charger Dock can connect the Ally to a TV while charging, with extra controllers for couch co-op or competition. The dock does not include the controllers in that description, and it is not required for handheld multiplayer. Make sure you have suitable controllers and confirm the game supports the local arrangement you want.
Check compatibility before you choose
Xbox’s Handheld Compatibility program uses four categories: Handheld optimized, Mostly compatible, Unsupported, and Not tested. Xbox says optimized games should launch without tweaking; Mostly compatible games may need minor adjustments, and in-game settings may need changes for optimal performance. The available information does not verify a current category for any of these eleven titles, so look up each game rather than inferring compatibility from Windows storefront access.
