They are not all interchangeable or verified for the same game version. The list below preserves the Java and Bedrock labels and version details reported by Beebom’s page, displayed as updated October 15, 2025. Treat the coordinates as starting points to check in your own world, not guaranteed positions across editions and releases.
How to choose a Minecraft speedrun seed
Pick by edition and version first, then by the kind of run you want. A convenient village or portal can help with an opening route, while a nearby fortress or stronghold can shape later travel. Not every entry is an Ender Dragon route: one focuses on finding diamonds and another is a fastest-death challenge.
- Set Seed: Repeatedly practice a chosen world and route.
- Random Seed: Adapt to terrain and structures generated in each new world.
- Leaderboard runs: Rules vary by category and can change. The Minecraft Speedrunning guide describes requirements such as Survival or Hardcore, default generation settings, video recording, and recording the seed; check the rules for your specific category before submitting.
A Java seed list from ChunkSeeds uses its own selection criteria: a village within 300 blocks, a ruined portal within 400 blocks, and the first stronghold under 2,000 blocks. Those are that site’s filters, not an official definition of a good speedrun seed. Its pages are labeled Java Edition 1.21.4, and the site warns that structure positions shift between major versions.
Java speedrun seeds
The first four entries below are labeled Java by Beebom. Only the fourth has a specific version label in the guide: Minecraft 1.16.

1. Fortress close to the Nether spawn
Seed: 1922293527921436389. The guide says a portal built at the Overworld spawn connects to a Nether area with a fortress on three sides and a nearby Piglin biome. It lists a blaze spawner at X 110, Z 44. Check the portal link and spawner in the edition and version you plan to practice.
2. Mansion, ruined portal, and village at spawn
Seed: 37021689. The described spawn includes a plains village, woodland mansion, and ruined portal. The guide lists the mansion at X 81, Z 139; ruined portal at X 53, Z 96; and Nether fortress at X -28, Z 94. It also describes a portal arrival near a fortress and Piglin area.
3. Diamond-finding route
Seed: 1870652620. This is a diamond-finding challenge rather than a standard dragon-completion route. The guide describes a cave and water route to diamonds at X -145, Z -58, with a lava lake and mineshaft nearby.

4. A seed specifically labeled for Minecraft 1.16
Seed: -4530634556500121041. The guide describes a village, ocean and beach access, buried treasure, Nether bastions, and a less convenient route to a fortress. It lists the stronghold at X 980, Z -1244 and the closest Nether fortress at X 200, Z 330. The source labels this seed for 1.16; do not assume those structures or coordinates carry over to newer versions.

Beebom labels these five entries Bedrock seeds. The sixth is explicitly described as a Minecraft 1.19 seed, with a warning about changed stronghold-village placement in 1.20.
5. Three villages and a stronghold
Seed: 7674399779279905778. The guide lists villages at X 168, Z 40 and X 248, Z -248, plus a village and stronghold location at X 792, Z 232. It describes the area as having resources and water and lava for building a portal.

6. Three stronghold villages within 1,000 blocks in Minecraft 1.19
Seed: 4381083045955854994. The source describes this as a Bedrock 1.19 seed and lists villages at X -1032, Z 216; X -472, Z -488; and X 632, Z -376. Its testing note says that in 1.20 only one of the villages has a stronghold beneath it, so the headline claim should not be carried forward to that version without checking.
7. Survival-island start
Seed: -2927611868038818840. The guide describes a wooded island with lava pools and a savanna village with an iron smith. The village is listed at X 264, Z -376.

8. Stronghold overlapping a mineshaft
Seed: -6778246788154565662. The guide describes a village above a stronghold that overlaps a mineshaft, with chests and hostile mobs. It lists the village at X 824, Z 200 and the stronghold at X 764, Z 200.

9. Classic desert-village start
Seed: 2339839170332492722. The described start is near a desert village, ocean, ores, and lava pools. The guide lists an ocean ruined portal at X 120, Z -344 and a stronghold at X -860, Z -1484. Its suggestion that a well-planned route could reach the End quickly is not a measured completion time.
Seeds labeled for both Java and Bedrock
The final three entries are labeled Java and Bedrock by the guide. That label does not establish that every structure appears at identical coordinates in both editions or across versions.
10. Fastest-death challenge
Seed: -6733649506412608257. This is a special challenge about dying quickly, not an ordinary Ender Dragon speedrun. The guide labels it for Java and Bedrock.

11. Woodland mansion, Ancient City, and village
Seed: 5705783928676095273. The guide describes a village and mansion near spawn with an Ancient City underneath. It supplies no coordinates in the accessed text, so expect to locate the structures yourself and verify them in your version.
12. Buried treasure and ruined portals
Seed: 5069102972844485557. The guide describes nearby buried treasure and ruined portals, and says Bedrock has more nearby treasure chests. Its listed stronghold coordinates differ by edition:

The guide cautions that the Nether fortress and bastion are some distance away.
Version and coordinate checks before you practice
Seeds are not a promise of identical terrain or structure placement on every platform and release. The source’s strongest version-specific warning concerns seed 6: its three-village stronghold claim is for 1.19, while the guide says only one village has a stronghold beneath it in 1.20. Seed 4 is explicitly labeled 1.16. The remaining entries are not all assigned a precise game version in the guide.

- Confirm the listed Overworld coordinates in that world. For Nether locations, build and use the portal route described by the guide rather than assuming Overworld coordinates map directly to a Nether structure.
- Check the category rules if you plan to submit a leaderboard run. A seed used for Set Seed practice is not thereby eligible for Random Seed or another category.
Beebom’s seed descriptions and coordinates are useful leads, but they are not independent in-game verification for every version. No completion-time comparison is established for these entries, so choose based on the route and challenge you want to practice rather than an assumed minutes-saved ranking.
