In Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, a steady week is more useful than trying to do everything each day: tend a manageable field, care for your animals, use windmills to process goods, and save items to sell at the weekly bazaar. These 12 beginner tips build that routine without relying on unverified profit formulas or unlock schedules.
Build a manageable daily routine
1. Pick a few priorities each morning
Farming, foraging, and fishing use stamina, so treat it as a daily budget rather than trying to clear every task. Choose the work that matters most, then use food, a bath, or bed rest to recover. Passing out at 5:00 AM ends the day, and a short night means less stamina restored. The PS5 manual describes these stamina and sleep mechanics; controls may differ on other platforms.
2. Keep the first field small
Start with a modest crop area and seeds suited to the current season. A smaller plot is easier to water and maintain while you learn the rest of the game’s routine.
3. Water crops when they need it
Water in the morning and evening if crops still need water; they can be watered up to twice daily. Skip watering on rainy days. Daily fertilizer is an option when improving crop quality is a priority.

7. Give seedlings room
Fruit-tree seedlings need an open 3-by-3 space. Unlike ordinary crops, they do not need watering and do not wilt; they produce fruit when in season.

Use wind and exploration to support the week
8. Queue goods at windmills
Windmills process crops, animal byproducts, and foraged finds. Consider processing goods before selling them, and use the wind forecast to help decide when to queue them: stronger winds speed up processing. The official game page describes the windmill system, but it does not establish a universal profit ranking for processed items.
9. Remember that wind changes gliding, too
Wind affects glider flight paths as well as windmill speed. Stronger wind is not a guarantee of easier travel, so take the conditions into account when gliding.

10. Gather with your next bazaar in mind
Foraging and fishing provide additional goods, but both draw on stamina. Gather what fits your day’s energy and plans rather than treating every find as an obligation.

11. Set aside goods for your stall
The weekly bazaar is the central sales loop: grow or raise goods, optionally process them at windmills, then sell from your own stall. Keep likely stall inventory in mind as the week unfolds instead of selling every item as soon as you obtain it. The publisher describes customizing a stall and managing sales at the official game page; choosing what to stock is a planning strategy, not a guaranteed profit formula.

12. Treat each week as a repeatable cycle
Use the days between bazaars to plant and tend crops, care for animals, gather or fish when stamina allows, and process suitable goods. Then bring the results to your stall. This gives your daily choices a clear purpose without requiring a fixed optimization route.
